Do not expect Aleksandra herself approaching any foreign coaches with such pleas. Some adult accompanying her, and in the case of foreign coaches, in reasonable command over the language (I suppose English) to do the dealings.

Not she herself this isn't what I said but together with her parents she probably has though about suitable trainers to change to. I would have found it interesting to know which foreign coach they had their eyes on.

Would have been good but she would have needed to to the same as zhenya and live in another country. At 15 that would be a huge change , I meanzhenya only had her mother butwith Sasha her while family probably would have gone with her. She also could have gotten the same hate as zhenya for training in another country. I just hope she will not get such a hate.

BOrser or RArturyan my guess since going for less than world class trainers isn't like how a parent like Mr Trusov would think in this case, also since Aleksandra met a couple of times with Yevgeniya Medvyedeva, who she seems to get along with well. I doubt Mr Trusov has command over Japanese, plus there are hardly any social or business ties between these federations.

There would have been ample opportunity to meet any of BO or RA around Rostelecom Cup for instance or at some Grand Prix event.

Time for our amateur sleuths to start checking photos, videos and digging through all the reports in the press for possible sightings of suspects ;-)

I think he'd have been a great choice for her, with Nathan Chen already in the team. Tarasova also would have supported that move for sure.

They could have also worked for Panova (who already works with Raf) in the low season when Sasha would have been forced to stay in Russia.

Those would also have been my first two guesses. Would have been I interesting to see but as I said in my last comment she also would have needed to uproot her entire life and her family as well and go to another rcou try and live there. Could have gotten the same hate as zhenya for training abroad. Which I hope she doesn't get now either
But imaging what would have happened in here or in the skating community is she would also have changed to orser I would not even have wanted to know. Probably a huge wave of hate against her

Imagine referring to one of the best skaters in the world as a "problem", that's just delusional. Many many skaters in the world and even in Eteri's team have been given the same or even more time and attention as Sasha has been given but no one has been able to produce results like hers.

No, I’m sure it had nothing to do with it. Sasha traveled time Egypt with her parents, and after her travel team Tutberidze account was posting her home workouts. The decision was sometime made within last month.

I don’t have time to search at the moment but wasn’t there a rumor around the time or Russian nationals that one of the Eteri girls had already made the decision to leave and was just finishing out the season? I think the same rumor said Alina had a quad.

As we can read in the article which is mentioned above in one of the comments apparently Sasha and her parents were ready to leave twice last season

I am not going to continue this discussion, not I am trying to prove anything, but Plushenko is becoming less and less liked basically every passing day(and sochi didn't do him any favors),at least in Russia (but he doesn't seem to be worried about it) and for a reason. His wife is already one of the most disliked person in the russian celebrity circles, and that is very tough accomplishment considering the competition

Can you talk with every Russian? After Sochi, after that stupid and understandable attacks on him he beat Lipnitskaya in popularity as I said. I can show the link if you don't believe me ( 1. Plush, 2. Lipni, 3. Sotka). For example I remember the media attacks on his academy after that many Russians were outrageous because of the price. That was very unusual, the first private and the most complex academy in Russia. The people don't care about the costs, investment but they want to skate for free there as in the state funding schools. That is the business, too of course. So, if he wants to be nice for everybody he wouldn't do anything.
Otherwise I don't like Rudkovskaya, too. She is talented but really annoying.

For a real account of what lead to this decision, we probably have to wait a little more, until the Trusovs speak out honestly and sincerely directly to us. They'll probably wait for the high tide of conflicting emotions to subside. Season hasn't even started yet.

Since Aleksandra is still a very young athlete, I think complete honesty and sincerity from the parties involved is in her best interest, otherwise there will always be shades of doubt hanging over her.

Come to think of it, a minimum senior age of 18 years would have spared us many emotions, since the concerning athlete would've been a legal adult.

We are never going to hear "the truth", everyone will tell story from their point of view and doesn't really matter, it happened and it doesn't matter who was wrong and right.

I really hope these 2 are last loses of TT this off-Season, tough ones to take, but still manageable.

I don't really agree with her moving to Pluschenko, but Rozanov being there makes me feel a bit better. I wish Sasha and Rozanov fruitful work in their new environment and TeamTut to just continue as always.
I really hope that she won't get unnecessary hate, especially because I've been already seeing here and elsewhere bashings from people who would defend her no matter what when she was still TeamTut.

LOL, even RA will put his mouth where the money is when it comes down to a unique chance like Trusova wanting to change rinks, plus all the propaganda, FFKKR money and chances of sponsorships/endorsements.

It would even have been interesting to find out if he would be capable of turning a young athlete into a multiple season champion, wouldn't it? But I doubt the three dogs will be allowed in, and wether Aleksandra would be able to part from her pets? At 15 not I'd think, a 18 perhaps without much thought.

American coach Rafael Harutyunyan answered the question if he would like to work with Russian Alexandra Trusova. Today it became known that Trusova went from Eteri Tutberidze to Evgeni Plushenko.
“Any coach, I think, would be interested to work with an athlete who is in the top ten of the world. It’s just that all Russian athletes are very dependent on the conditions created for them: a step to the side is regarded as an escape, and historically it is known what this leads to, ”Harutyunyan said.

Do not overestimate it. At this age level this says only a little. Many today's top skaters were somewhere in the middle of the starting field at the age of cca 10-12. Yes, Titova has defeated Rubtsova (which caused that of four titles at the russian novice championships Eteri's team won "only" three, shame ), but how this will keep in time? E.g. Veronika Zhilina was much less consistent a year ago when she came to Eteri than she is now and if you compare her with Titova (who is only half year younger) it's a big difference. I don't say Titova can't be a top skater under Plushenko, but I won't call that as somehow significant omen about how strong his school is.

I'm just saying winning Russian novices with Titova is bigger success than coaching Ryabova.
