2019-20 Russian Ladies' Figure Skating

I think the other side and the other side of the other side, not to mention the other side of the other side of the other side, are making fools of themselves. Skate, coach, don't tweet -- that's the ticket.

It's like saying that WWII was started by the invasion to Normandy. The "media war" as you call it, didn't start now, and wasn't started by "the other side". There was hardly any comment before the december from "the other side".

It sould be also said that I'm not defending the words of Layshev.

At that time, didn't it burst out with the famous Instagram message of Team Tutberidze bashing at Tarasova and Pluschenko?

In each conflict, split, separation, etc, there are always 2 sides and what I want to say is that everyone has the right to be free to make choices for himself.

Changing coaches is, after all, a normal thing in the sport world.

Silence is Golden, let your results speak for you, but tell this Plyushchenko, Zheleznyakov, Tarasova and others who seem to thrive on the public's attention ;-)

Tarasova seems to be involved in every row and scandal these days, often running her mouth. Now involved in a fight with Irina Rodnina, not pretty, this old cats fight.

That’s exactly it. We can’t pretend our favourite coaches aren’t out here throwing shady comments just because they aren’t explicit about it. They know exactly what they are doing and they shouldn’t be doing it at all. Coach more, shade less. :)

Many skaters, experts commented Alina's steps as Plushenko also did it. Tutberidze and his team reacted so harshly on their instagram as you mentioned it and that Plush responsed it more harshly. If I right remember Tarasova was involved in the attacks, too, and she told them go to hell! ( or something like this, I don't remember correctly)

I was never a coach, but I was a chief for some time. And even if it was just a small branch of the institution, I've seen some things that leading post brings together. There is responsibility, joy of success and other things that are positive. There are also some others. People expect some things that you just cannot provide, people can be disappointed, people can be also very jealous, they do not support you when you supported them before, they slander you behind your back. I had enough of it once and left for a less responsible job (though better paid :) ).

What I want to say is that at least partially can understand what the leaders of the teams feel every day. Pressure, risk of failure, expectations, jealousy. Even the best can't please everyone (that's not my idea, somebody came with it before  ). They have to put big part of themselves into their work and into the people. It's not an easy job. It's a mission of a kind. I can't blame them everytime they make a mistake. They are humans.

yes, it was just after that famous Grand Prix final and the announcement of Alina for career pause. The Russian media started to ask everybody, incl Plushenko for their opinion, after that followed the Instagram post of Tutberidze and so on...

Plyushchenko himself started talking about 'envelopes to make things happen' in that December 2019 interview on his war with #TeamTutberidzeForProgress.

When you start talking about corruption, you immediately taint yourself, esp. when always bragging about throwing money around, being able to buy whole teams at a frill.

That's a completely different thing though, one is not illegal (football teams pay for good players to play for them) the other is, as I said, a crime (bribing sports officials to win a competition), you are clearly accusing Plushy of the second. You claim to have nothing against him, but you have no issue accusing him of a serious crime. Do you often accuse people of crimes just out of the blue?

Eteri accused Plushy of being a fake coach, should we therefore assume she's a fake coach to because she brought it up first? Has she not tainted herself by bringing that up?

Same with the 'complete devotion 24/7 to make Trusova the greatest female skater ever' etc. Such loudly proclaimed big promises will only end in disappointment.

Maybe so, but I distinctly recall everyone and their dog stating that Plushy - the fake coach - wasn't even going to bother with Sasha at all. All I could think seeing that was "Well, obviously he'll have to spend 24 hours a day with Sasha or people will never let it go."

You seem positive that Plushy won't devote any time to Sasha at all, you've basically said so in all your posts so far. Most of the articles you've posted contain the same accusation.

He's only saying he'll do what everyone is demanding he does - least he be the worst person in the world.

Yevgeniy Viktorovich needs to bend his image to the positive or stay silent. What he makes of Trusova will be most interesting to follow from all human, social, communication and business aspects.

Does he? Why does Plushy have to keep quiet? If journalists are going to get all up in his face, asking this and that he might as well answer or they'll just make stuff up.

PS: hate is such a big and nasty word. I do not know the person, and the private Plyushchenko does not interest me at all. It is skating coach Plyushchenko's talking and behaviour that I dislike.

Fine and I don't like Eteri and her team's behaviour either, they're being petty and acting like a bunch of children who've had their favourite toys taken away. The thing is neither Sasha or Sergei R are toys, they are free to leave Sambo for any reason they chose and not be blasted by their previous team for it.

Tomorrow, the Executive Committee of FFKKR will organise a remote meeting with the purpose of evaluation of the 2019/20 season and make proposals towards the 2020/21 teams.

https://tass.ru/sport/8472005

This is different from the Coaches Council which decides over assignments.

So, today final transfer day. More last minute surprises still?

Should FFKKR consider transfer sums when a state raised athlete goes private?

Yes, but that is not up to date. The video was posted some time ago on her now deleted account.

So it seems like this is Adeliya's proper new personal account.

And she'll turn 13 next month, so a fan fest of her own will be in order.

Seems it is, though I think this was already posted on Eteri's team profile with the other videos of the team members. But I would say it is 90 % her true profile.

It is possible that I saw it there. Thanks for the correction. I'm slowly no longer looking through with all the accounts. :D
