2019-20 Russian Ladies' Figure Skating

I have to say, this constant lashing out of irrational animosity on the part the Eteri mob is changing my mind about a lot of things.

How the member of the "Eteri mob" can be recognized? Is it anyone who is not jumping with joy and who even dares to have doubts about Sasha's decision and does not worship Plushenko?

How the member of the "Eteri mob" can be recognized?
Quite simple, actually. They show exactly THE behavior that they accuse the supposed opponents of their deity. At the same time, they constantly slip into the victim role as a proxy (and not just as a proxy) to justify this.

Oh, "deity", "Eteri mob", using such slanderous expressions against opponents while constantly looking for excuses for their favourite, yes, that truly persuaded me about how "correctly" the "supposed opponents" enter the discussion.

It's funny. You did much more than "doesn't worship Plushenko". :palmf: There were many such posters but aren't you and cca other 4 posters.

I like how you ignore that fact this is a very risky decision of Plushenko, too. If Sasha won't be "totally" succesful he will be in charge. On TV our expert used to say after a change of coach, their work only becomes fruitful after two years. I don't think you will give him 2 years. We don't talk about the injuries. Who will be responsible? ;) Not Rozanov or anyone else, I'm sure. The succes will be Rozanov's succes the lack of succes will be Plush's fault.

It can be hardly differed between what was said by who if everybody gets the same treatment (slander). Therefore I'm asking where is the border (if there's any), not just for me, but for all those slandered today. If it is even possible to have doubts about the transfer and Plushenko being a coach and remain a member of a decent society or if the very fact that I have my objections makes me an evil mind.

As for me, I agree I did more than just "not worshipping him", I've sent you his own words, on your own request, and also I gave my evaluation (not positive, yes) of what he said in the past. Nothing I've said about him I consider unfair. And BTW I've maid critical claims to some words from Sambo club. You (and others), on the other hand, partially ignored and partially excused Plushenko's attacks, that's a sign of completely uncritical attitude towards him by you.

I simply don't care about Plushenko's risks, he is just not my concern, Sasha is my concern. If they would fail, Plushenko will survive easily (do not pretend otherwise), Sasha's career may not.

This is getting tiresome. Why has the Russian Ladies thread turned into a fan war between fans of coaches? Can you all just get a grip please and stop arguing. You aren’t going to change each other’s minds. This has gone on for pages now. :palmf::hijacked:

Smekalov is dancer and choreographer in Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. Smekalov choreographed Plushenko's Tribute to Nijnsky LP. That was his first work with figure skater.

and what a work that program was... Real masterpiece! I hope they'll engage him too to work with Sasha.

OK, I agree. I'm willing to close this topic and I'm sorry if I've offended someone.

Yes, sorry. But I didn't do anything more what those very moral persons didn't do. I "worshipping" Plushenko they "worshipping" Eteri and the TT.
They scold Plushenko because of similar reasons what are ignored by them in Eteri and his team's cases. Double standard. But I don't hate anybody you can't tell this about them.

I just don't like if on a international figure skating forum some posters spread so much hate on a international superstar. The hate most of the time based on gossips, opinions, indirect things and even these things are under double standard . I apologize you but I can't stand this process and I will defend everybody (not just Plush, but he is on the target now) if I feel those attacks are too much or too unfair. Many posters do same things in several them but I know this theme is too long.

Evgenia is live on @moment4life1990 on Instagram tune in if any of you are interested! :luv17:

I just tuned into this! It was really great, lots of interesting questions and Flo's a good interviewer :)

Looking forward to seeing Zhenya and her programs, they sound like they're going to be very cool.

I completely understand your frustration but it is best to take those conversations in to private messages otherwise we end up going round in circles on this thread. It was not a direct insult toward yourself for defending your favourite coach, or TT fans for defending their favourite coach. Just simply a call for peace between both sides and an acceptance that each have their opinion which will not be changed. :)

It was really good, minus the technical problems. I thought it was very sweet how she said she was proud of her whole team for those two seasons she won everything. That was extremely graceful of her. I’m also very excited for the programs, she said her free will be better than Memoirs of a Geisha so I think we’re in for some great surprises! I really hope next season can take place in full. With Alina coming back and Evgenia’s new programs I’m beyond excited! :yahoo:

As an Aussie I'm used to internet connection kerfuffles, but is Zhenya still in Japan? I thought they had really good internet there.

I enjoyed the questions about how she felt during her skating seasons - they started with 2011. Zhenya laughing at herself as a teeny tiny 11 year old was so cute!

I think she must be, the background looked really plain like a hotel room or something. I think maybe she was using one of those portable internet sticks that are like memory sticks because she said she had to reconnect it. I found it so sweet, she really was a baby though, definitely requires a rewatch of that nationals. When she was talking about being so confident in her junior season as well, bless her!
