What happened to Alina Ustminka and Alexei Rogonov

They have been doing shows. I don’t think they have much chance against the current juniors who are moving to seniors. Every season it will be perhaps 3 extra talented pairs moving up to seniors, and Ustimkina/Rogonov have the height issue that puts them in disadvantage. Besides, quite honestly, his age is against him too. He is neither Zhang nor Savchenko to be able able to skate at very high level in his mid thirties, so he doesn’t have that many years left. He is 31 now. Also, in the same show there is Maisuradze (Ustimkina’s boyfriend) so I doubt that he would like to stop doing shows and start training at a completely different ice rink.

Interesting that during autumn 2018 she was a single skater still and during spring 2019 she's already skated in pair.
