And now pairs + junior/senior free dance are up.

KMT & Michael and Evelyn & Trennt only did the short program. A lot of teams only doing a double twist right now; in the case of KMT & Michael, I'm guessing they're trying to redo the off-season process from 2019 that got wiped away by the pandemic.

Piper & Paul get perfect levels in the free dance.

Nadiia & Peter won the junior free and the event thanks to Natalie & Bruce falling on their rotational lift.
 
The junior ladies’ free results are up. Lulu, the 11-year-old who Andrew Evans regularly posts clips of, won Group II (really, won both groups, as her score was higher than the Group I winner).

Skate Ontario isn’t putting them online, only the results.

Evans posts a lot of Stories of his students, so they aren’t still around. Lulu probably appears more than anybody else, other than maybe Brooke & Ben.

All the senior frees are out. Lulu beat all the senior TES except Amanda Tobin (Gabrielle didn’t do the free).

Conrad actually seems to have had a really good technical skate, but his PCS scoring is still not good.

Besides Lulu’s result which at 11 is impressive for sure, Evans skaters from Canadian Ice Academy also took top spots in both novice women’s flights and most of the top spots in the pre-novice flights as well. Lots of good things going on at that rink apparently. The next few years should be interesting as these skaters advance towards the junior and seniors ranks.
 
I’m so happy Roman skated well. With this win, I think he will be sent to fight for that second spot for Canada. He didn’t skate that well. But, his 4S in the second half must have been outstanding. He competed in the July High Performance and won the SP with a score 80+. He didn’t do the free skate then as it wasn’t ready. But, winning the free skate here, is a good sign. Joseph won the battle for silver over Conrad and I think he will get the WC to Skate Canada.

As far as the Midnight Blues goes, this has been a better pattern for them than the Finnstep. They got a level 4 on it at 2017 Worlds, for instance.

so, yes... i guess it's a good pattern for them... my feeling was right... and for the midline step sequence, i think it's pretty normal that tech panels in ice dance are domestically more generous than international ones... it's not like it never happens anywhere else... won't mention any countries specifically. there is no need for that, it happens almost everywhere... the ice dance scores are often compared from season to season with the different elements making up the points and thus, changing the maximum score year after year, so.... i may be wrong, but i feel that it is common in small competition, and this was not just a domestic competition but a very local ontario competition, to show off how big your top skaters can do... as the scores sort of set a precedent... anyways... sorry if i am not explaining myself better... but i think what i am saying is almost comprehensible... in other words, we will see similar levels from top skaters from other ponds, and skaters and followers will have a sense of how much can so and so score when they hit all their levels... and points total will be expected here and there... we often hear things like "we get around XX points for the RD... we aim for XXX points for the FD etc"
 
Autumn Classic entries are out and from Canada:

WOMEN: Bausback, Daleman, Schumacher
MEN: Nguyen, Orzel Phan
DANCE: Gilles/Poirier, Lajoie/Lagha, Sales/Wamsteeker, Soucisse/Firus

There are only 8 men scheduled to compete, including the 3 from Canada.
Women's competition has 17 competitors, including Miyahara, You and Karen Chen.
Ice dance has 12 teams and several from IAM, including P/C, S/D, F/G and W/L.

Fabulous dance field, and I’m guessing this means that Sadovsky is headed to Nebelhorn.
