I think she may have done a triple triple in last year’s videotaped qualifier for 2021 u. S. Nationals.

I just saw her score and she must have done well as she has quite a lead up to this point. After Mariah's skate, Alysa has a 4 point lead over her and it looks like she won the SP

Alysa leads Young You and Amber Glenn by 11 points, and 4 points over Bell. Looking like Alysa's first international win in two years!!

Very smart for Alysa to do 2A instead of 3A. Again, her team knows what's up! In comparison to Amber's lol She already tried 3As, but now with Mariah and Amber, they knew it would be the best to have a clean program. It's August, you don't need to pull off your big guns, yet. The most important thing was to show 'I'm ready for Olympic season, I can go clean and deliver', and this is what Alysa did! There's still free left ofc, let's see what they can do tomorrow 
I also wanted to say that I really enjoyed Sierra and Rena even with mistakes, it's the first time I've watched them. If anyone knows what was the music of Sierra's SP, I'd appreciate it

NO ONE likes Mariah's SP music!! Can't believe she didn't get dinged in PCS for that. If I were a higher up in USFSA, I'd be telling her team to change that music PDQ. It does not suit her AT ALL.Mariah's SP was.... Hoping Alysa gets sent to Nebelhorn and Audrey to SKAM.
Alysa will certainly be picked for Nebelhorn, I never had any doubt.

I was about to say that Judge 2 seemed stingy with everyone, but a one to two point different per mark is definitely a bit off. Maybe they just weren't a fan? I don't know. At least those marks won't be factored into the final score.

I think we have found the one program that we can all agree to hate. Even the diehard Mariah fans are extremely disappointed based on what I've seen. I really wouldn't mind if she got a new program, like, yesterday.
Not sure about that. Judge 2 gave everyone PCS around 5 to 7.
Judge 1 really really liked Audrey though. They gave her PCS in high 8 to 9 whereas other top skaters including Alysa, Mariah and Amber got PCS around high 7 to low 8 and Madeline Schizas and Young You got around 6s and 7s respectively. Can't say if I agree or not as I haven't watched the performances but this judge gave Audrey significantly higher PCS than anyone else.

It is?? Call me crazy, but I think at the very least, USFS will take the Cranberry Cup free skates into account.
Not to mention that afaik, USFS never has said that Cranberry Cup will be the only competition results used for Skate America selection??
I like Paige and Audrey a lot, and I'm really happy for both of them that their Cranberry SPs were strong.
But I do not think that others have zero chance for Skate America.

I really like Audrey. She might be a huge factor this year. Alyssa definitely warmed my respect. So many wrote her off, but she wasn’t ready to give up. Good for her! Mariah’s program needs some work. Any footage of Gracie? Always routing for Gracie.

The ladies are working hard and are talented. But watching the ladies short program at cranberry wasn't such a pleasant affair. Previous hopefuls from nationals and from just weeks ago faltered, like Rena ikenishi and gabbie izzo, and yes, gracie (I call her a hopeful bc everyone's been talking about her progress). And Mariah still cannot do a nice 3-3 combo without it looking like a struggle or an UR.
Uggghhh, it's frustrating to know that instead of having the hopefuls do well the majority of the time , the hopefuls will falter randomly and then a girl who's been written off has a great performance and then SHE becomes a hopeful.... until she too falters, and the cycle just repeats.

She didn't do so well, she is in 15th place. She popped her opening lutz and downgraded her combo. More than that, her face was absolutely devoid of any expression throughout, like a robot. I've never seen a skater look like that before.
I would think Gabby Izzo still has a shot, especially if she does well tomorrow.
I get the feeling that Mariah really wants to break out of the ice princess pigeonhole she found herself in, but man the generic pretty ballad thing just suits her so much better than whatever this is...

At this point it's probably too late for her but, she is being poorly coached and is clearly under-training, There are so many coaches would love to work with her and I don't know why she is where she is. I thought it was because these coaches made her happy but, you can't tell that from her performances.
