I don't think Bradie could get on the team without a good result at Nationals.
Based on the way the groups work for how USFS is selecting this year, she won't be in consideration if she doesn't place top 3 at Nationals. As of now, Alysa and Karen have top priority since they're in groups 2 and 3, respectively, while everyone else is in group 4. However, by the time nationals rolls around, it's very likely that Karen, Amber, Mariah, and Lindsey will all be in group 3, while Bradie is still in group 4. Placing top 3 at nationals is the only way to get herself on equal footing with the rest of her competitors and get into group 3.

I think depending on the showings of the other contenders for the team, the US fed might be willing to bend some rules for Bradie as she has been their most stable skater this quad

We might have a repeat of MK in 2006.
Bradie (when healthy) is nice, but you can't compare her situation with MK. Michelle was a 5-time world champion and a 9-time national champion. She was the face of team USA even if Sasha had a better chance that year. Maybe Michelle wasn't quite healthy enough for the team, but it is understandable why there was such a strong desire to have her on the team.

Putting an injured Bradie on this team would be an entirely different situation.

And she shouldn't. I love Bradie but, Michelle was a 5 time World Champion when they sent her to Torino and we all saw how that worked out. I would hope that if Bradie is not ready to skate at Nationals that she would consider it bad luck and move on. There is no point in going for the Olympic Team if you are not 100%.

If we see Bradie at Nationals, I think she will show up in shape to challenge for the title. International travel takes time away from her training and puts her at increased risk of contracting covid, which could be a huge setback. With her experience, she knows exactly what she needs to do to peak at Nationals so I don't think it's problematic for her to miss events if her recovery is otherwise progressing well.

:pray::pray: I am hoping that things go well for Bradie. She looked happy and healthy in those pictures we saw but, I haven't seen her do anything on the ice in a month.

At this point is there a possibility that she would just withdraw from Nationals if the injury is this serious?
If she’s too injured to compete she may not have a choice. I truly hope this is not the case.

Editing to make it clear she wouldn’t withdraw now unless it were something catastrophic like a broken leg. It would be closer to Nationals if she were to withdraw.

Bradie never win any medal at World and GPF which may put her in disadvantage. Bradie can only make to Olympics team if she is in top 3 at Nats. She has to compete against those much younger and healthier ones (Alysa, Isabeau, Lindsay), so top 3 podium at Nat won't be easy for Bradie at this time. Alysa and Isabeau are almost certainly on podium at Nats, that leaves one spot for other skaters (possibly Lindsay)

And Karen can't consistently land a triple triple in the short to save her life.

Well, neither have any of the other US Ladies. Outside of Alysa, a healthy Bradie Tennell is still our best hope to get another Lady in the final flight, assuming that Alysa gets there as well. Lindsay is the wild card here. If she can skate the way she's been skating on the Junior Circuit and add the extra time to her programs, she just might make the podium. Isabeau is not eligible for the Olympics so, she's out of this discussion. Amber has a big test coming up at the NHK Trophy and if she does well, she improves her chance of making the team.

No. My favourite US Lady 😢; Does she still have one Challenger event left?
As of now, no, but the assumption is that she will be entered for Golden Spin in Zagreb, and she would be trying her hardest to get to that challenger so she can put some score down for her fall season.

It's obvious that Bradie is much more injured then Tom Z or Bradie have admitted to. The Instagram right before SA from Bradie made it seem like she simply hadn't had enough time to get ready to compete but if she really has been back on the ice training for the last few weeks then she would have competed later this season even if she's not in prime shape. But to cancel everything before Nationals says to me she is still injured.
