It's a FujiTV thing, it's basically the theme song for any skating event and they play it constantly. And it's Shoma's free program music as well.

Thankfully Shoma left the vocal part aside and went for an instrumental version. I find this cover of Bolero quite interesting.

Rino has had a rough year but she'll be ok. She just needs more time to recover from injury. Her SS are sublime.

Wow! Rinka… I guess with her name as close to Rika as possible, she skated like Rika to pay homage. Nice 3A attempt by her. I mentioned after SP, that I was hoping Rinka would get an international event next year, and it looks like it might happen after this performance.

I’m rooting for all six in this final group. I will be sad no matter what. So, let the best go to Olympics.

This is the Twilight Moonlight Sonata I guess. Poor Rino to start with 2 falls. She is a lovely skater. This music is no help at all.

as always, this program is beautiful (even if the music is meh) and Rino skating skills are excellent...too bad about the mistakes but hopefully she can come back strong next time

And so my stress truly begins. Make it a good fight ladies, it's already guaranteed to be a heartbreaker!

It seems like Rino is still finding her feet while she grows (both literally, in stature and in maturity as a skater). She still has a nice quality to her skating but she'll need the consistency back to make a bigger impact.

Very gutsy to have all those combos in the 2nd half and it worked out. If only those first jumps had done the same.
