Andrei's jumps don't always work but when they do he has such soothing landing positions Also well done not Zayaking!
Roman has some pretty wild-looking jumps sometimes but always really nice step sequences! And the warmup camera really shows how fast he is across the ice.

I laughed a bit at Artem's expression after finishing that choreo sequence without music. Great job dude! And black leather pants >> jeggings

Osokina and Antonyshev have withdrawn. Probably the FS isn't ready yet. A pity, I was quite curious how they'd do.

Hmmm, I don't know, I agree they don't seem to be a very good fit, I don't think there's much chemistry between them..

Seems Frolova has withdrawn. Her skating in Juniors was weird in the first place. I wonder what's going on there. She skated so beautifully at Junior test skates.

I kinda knew she would, skating in juniors makes no sense. I wonder if she is prepping for a country change after all but cant let rusfed know to keep her funding for this season which is why she keeps WD from competitions or something like that. Either that or an injury which im hoping its not the case.

Rubtsova just did 3A in her free! The second one was probably UR, but impressive nonetheless. The rest of the program wasn't very good though (UR 3Lz-3Lo, doubled -3S, very little involvement in the program and shaky overall).
And she takes the lead, well-deserved!

Edit: Has Dvoeglazova ever landed her 4T in competition? Her triples are really solid though.

And Rubtsova won with 184.60 to Dvoeglazova 184.59. That was as close as it gets.
