I came across the 2021-22 event calendar published by the Moscow Federation and thought it would be a good start for this season's thread.

The Moscow season will kick off in August, so don't despair, just two months of summer left to go. ;)

18th - 21st August: Championships of the School of the Olympic Reserve "Sparrow Hill" - Mozer Team
Singles, pairs, and ice dance sports categories 3-1, Pairs KMS out of competition (will we see Osokina and Rud already??? :hap10:)

24th - 27th August: Junior Championships of the City of Moscow, all disciplines

Yay, the Moskvich boys! And I'll be able to watch live despite it being a non-home-office-day. :party2:
There'll also be the first "battle" between Ilya Mironov and Diana Mukhametzyanova with their respective new partners. Sadly, no Osokina/Rud yet.

I love Dobromir Voronov and I'm looking forward to older brother Vadim. Both already standing out not just for their skating skills, but also for their hairdos!

Brilliant 'Bella Ciao' version! Love it (and so would you @elektra blue). Followed by the Moris song! I knew Mozer Team events send me to heaven :hap10:

I made a mistake, it was Novice Pairs, not Juniors, they are still to come. Apologies, wasn't thinking.

Anyway, Marinina/Finokhin in the lead. Kudryavtseva/Astakhov must have had a bad day in the office. Just as well I didn't see it. But I would have loved to see the new Mozer pairings...

So seems like Mukhortova/Evgeniev are going to dominate this season. It's OK for me, as I like them ;)
Kostiukovich/Bryukhanov are only on the 3rd place, what is quite a disappointment... And I couldn't even watch what happened... Pity.

I'm happy for M/E as they are really exciting, and for Mukhametzyanova/Antonyshev, who could turn out to be a great match. Very sorry for Geynish/Mironov, who fell clearly behind. Ilya is better than that.

I'm super annoyed that we can't see anything. I was mega looking forward to this! 👿
