Happy for Klementiy Tolchinsky, good win for him. Dobromir Voronov must have had a bit of bad luck today after his recent successes.But he ended up still in third.

Cup in memorial of Sergey Volkov - 11- 14 November 2021
Mits Arena (Club Matterhorn), Moscow

Sergey Volkov was the first male Russian World Champion in 1975. He is father to Alexander Volkov, coach of Artem Kovalev and several other very talented young skaters. Sergey was trained by two other greats of Russian FS coaching, Viktor Kudryavtsev and Stanislav Zhuk. He passed away in 1990.

Is Alena injured this is the second time she WD in a months time? Im kinda worried for her she is nationally junior eligible next season but she hasnt been able to break into the top skaters in her age group yet. She has never made it into novice nats and only managed to get 10th place at older age novice moscow championships last season.

Hmm, the Elements segment for Volkov memorial always includes the jumps, as well as StSq+Sp. Wonder why it's different this year.

Anyway, excellent line-up this year, but Alena Krivonosova really stands out in her age group. Huge PCS potential.
