I wonder why Butsaeva didn't have Ruslan compete in juniors instead, he doesn't really have the tech for seniors just yet? he has just turned 15 few days ago so its not like he is too old either?

No, he's been with her since forever (couple of years at least). Also skated in the Cup of Russia this year. He doesn't represent Moscow though, afaik.
ETA: Come to think of it, now I'm unsure if I am maybe mixing him up with someone else. The boys all have the same hairstyle these days, it's getting difficult to tell them apart. So take the info above with a grain of salt.
