Today's action ends with the Junior Ladies SP. Three groups totalling 14 for the ISU competition, followed immediately by another group of 3 for the Interclub competition.

Since there are nearly 2 hours to go until the Interclub competition starts, I will post another reminder post for it when it starts. And then remove the Interclub links from this post when I update the livestream links at the end of the day.

Here is the link for the livestream (starts at 2h 38m 22s):
ISU Junior Ladies - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmdNwsVPE3U&t=9502

Here is the Time Schedule:

And here is the live scoring page:

Hope this helps

After having two and a half days of competitions where the vast majority of skaters were from the host country, it was a bit surreal to have a group that was completely made up of foreign skaters. That first group was practically Kazakh Nationals!

There are 2 more Kazakh skaters to come in the second group. Which means that, if you only count the ISU section, Kazakhstan has the most skaters in Junior Ladies (6 girls). And if you do include the Interclub competition, they are only one behind the host country (7 girls - 4 ISU and 3 Interclub).

In fact, with 3 Advanced Novice Girls as well, I think Kazakhstan has the biggest contingent of foreign skaters competing here. Which is impressive, given that, of all the participants in the Spring Star, they will have had the furthest to travel.

And, after the first of the Estonian girls kicked off Group 2, here is the first of the Belorussian girls!

Watching a Kazakh skater with a Korean surname there now sure brought on mixed emotions. Happy memories remembering Denis skating. And sad memories remembering how he left us.

Yelizaveta YUN slotted into 3rd place, 1.04 behind her team-mate Sofiya FARAFONOVA. Belorussian skater Milana RAMASHOVA leads by 3.83.

Resurfacing now, and then we re-start with the skater I am most familiar with in this event, Lithuania's Jogaile AGLINSKYTE.

Heidy. Really pretty blue dress. She had a rough skate, and she was crying, so sad.

It's not often you see somebody get 3 points in deductions but still go into the Top 3.

I was shouting at the screen "You can stop now! Your music's finished!" But, still she kept spinning!

I know skaters want to finish their programme having done everything they have planned to do, but if it is obvious that you are going to run way over time, it is sometimes better to make changes on the fly.

Love this French version of "The Winner Takes it All". But, I still think it is tempting fate.

Well, after what we saw from the last few skaters we have had, it is good to see somebody that is actually happy and smiling sitting on the sofa!

Into 3rd. I actually thought she might go 2nd. But, she's delighted. And that's the main thing.

Hanna. Black dress with red gloves and a red bow in her hair. Jumps not good, but really good spins and commitment to the choreography.

Has Varvara Kisel lost her 3A? Im worried for her jumps in general too they are starting to really look wonky and unstable. She has not had the best season but lucky for her switching to skate for Belarus does give her lots time to get her ultra c elements back.

Like yesterday, Day 4 starts now with back-to-back Senior competitions. However, it looks like the partnership competing in the Interclub Pairs competition has withdrawn, so it is only a triple bill today. But, for continuity, I will split the reminder posts up the same way as I did yesterday.

This post is for the Senior Pairs FS.

Now that the Senior Pairs FS is over, the triple bill continues with the Senior Ladies FS and the Senior Men's FS. Yes, the organisers are trying to confuse us again by switching them around compared to yesterday. :rolleye:
