Kailani was only 81st on the SB list from last year, so it's pretty unlikely. The replacement list is normally the next 10 without 2 spots by SB, and she would be really far down that.

I can’t imagine Kaiya doing GP, I think Canada would have given her the SC host spot over Schumacher.
However she isn’t listed for an alternative on the JGP yet.
So who knows

I like so many in that list, it'll be fun to watch them if they end up chosen
(not that I want any injuries among the currently assigned of course)I think so too, which is a pity imo, as they are lovely skaters and more than capable of great results in senior skating. The Korean women really has the strongest team now when the Russians are not on the scene.

Thanks for posting this actually. My first reaction was "look to juniors" as a junior champ moving up to seniors is a good option.

I would say he is not ready for the senior GP and call him a victim of Covid.

I would say he is a stronger choice than Kai... but do we know if he is skating as a junior or senior? He is a close argument to Liam.

I did side eye Liam, but you have a point. I think there is an argument for Will, but now that i look I am more content. I do wonder if this is a time they should have gone with two TBDs... i mean weird things do happen in figure skating.

You do not want Will or Kai, both have been total hot messes this season. At the Junior Team Cup for JGP selections held July 8-9, they scored a 160.48 and 150.90 respectively for their combined score.

Sad to see Annis is struggling. Def left strong impression last JGP. Hopefully it’s growth problems that can be overcome.

It is such a thrill to see that my Canadian Sparkplug.......( Keegan Messing ) is going to be around for another season. I looked at the top 10 from his final season as a US skater, and I believe he's the only top 10 skater that's still active. Unless Jason decides to continue.

You're right, is he still training with Stephane. It is a surprise unless they happen to be training in Canada. Maybe his second gp will be in Europe. He's a medalist there so, I imagine his other events are closer to home.Deniss Vasiljevs at Skate Canada

Yes, his second GP is the JWT in Britain.

He was at Skate Canada in 2019 as well. There might be some training/cooperation or distribution reason for it. I mean, I don’t mind seeing him again, but in the interest in seeing new faces, I wish they mixed and matched more.Deniss Vasiljevs at Skate Canada

I had to look up the jwt event. John Wilson Trophy. I can't wait. I bet that event will be well attended. He's loved by so many people.
