Just to cover it on all relevant places and disprove the rumors:

Recently, a lot of false information about us has appeared on the network, so we would like to clarify the situation. A couple of weeks ago, we decided to leave Igor Shpilband's group and start working with a new team of Elena Novak and Alexey Kilyakov. Under Igor's leadership, we have made a huge leap forward in skill, in our individual and partner skills. We are immensely grateful to Igor, Pasquala, Natalia and Adrian for their work. Training with our new team, we are athletes of the Russian National Team and look forward to starting the new season at the test rentals. As for the rest of the news, in figure skating around the world, there is a practice of receiving comments from various specialists in the off-season, which relate to significant technical changes in connection with the new rules. As for our personal life, we try to protect it and hope for understanding and tactfulness on the part of fans and journalists. DG

Just caught up with Dancing Anna Scherbakova / Big Brother Goncharov's skate at Russian Cup stage 2:

Those are some pretty high levels! 😳 Anna got L4 on both the one-foot and serpentine step sequences (twizzles too, but that's fairly common among top juniors). Maybe the tech panel here was feeling generous, but even a L3 one-foot is pretty decent internationally. They also had great GOE on the choreo elements (sequence and slide).
I'm really becoming a fan of Team Sokolniki - strong technique, refreshing choreo and kindly vibes from both skaters and coaches.
Anna Rumak / Little Brother Goncharov will be up next at Stage 3. Looking forward to seeing how they do!

By sheer coincidence a vlog episode came out featuring Scherbakova/Goncharov and Rumak/Goncharov! :love2:
As far as I can gather (relying on auto-translate) it's 'a day in the life', where the Goncharov brothers and their Annas show us around Sokolniki rink, with snippets of on-/off-ice practice and interviews with both pairs. Lots of giggles and cuteness!

Interestingly Anna/Gleb actually have deeper voices than Anna/Egor! And Gleb grew so much, he is almost as tall as his older brother
I love the music in the off-ice dance class (folk dance?). Tarantella from Anyuta, Sviridov Snowstorm etc.
Spotted younger teams working on 14-step/Ten-Fox, way to go kiddos 💪
Sasha Shustitskiy also appears in the background with his new partner Sasha Kravchenko. I saw them in RC stage 3, where it was evident there is a huge skill difference :( Fingers crossed they manage to remedy that, otherwise I'm not optimistic for the partnership to last...

The Goncharovs/Team Sokolniki could do with a fanfest at some point if only to stop me spamming this thread (I'm just a bit too lazy to commit to making one) 😅

Looks like you're not the only one who caught up with their skate, but the author of the music too.

Online sources the past 24 hours are starting to confirm the split of Senior ice dance team Annabelle Morozov/David Narizhny. Confirmed by Annabelle's dad Nikolai Morozov and the president of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR), Alexander Kogan.

Wow! Did not see this coming. Supposedly David did not want to train in the US part-time in prep for upcoming competitions. Will have to see what further information develops

Wow did not see that coming. I honestly think this is the best pairing both of them can hope for especially for Anabelle.

Totally agree. I was completely shocked when I read this, especially as they did so well in their competitions for such a new pair. It’s a shame David didn’t want to train part-time in the US. Seems odd this is what broke up the partnership.
