yeah.. that's my issue. at 4CC.. no big deal... but at worlds, I doubt that a not so good 4s and a 2a and perhaps a 3lz-2t combo would mean qualification. At the same time, if Conrad prepares popcorn for the entire judging panel, it wouldn't work out either... Last year, Conrad did decently and didn't make the LP based on low PCS and very early skating. He would skate quite early this year too... Not sure how many points Roman has and how early he may skate too...Considering how Roman's season has gone, it is a good result for him. But talking in the mixed zone about how he took out the 3A in his short due to not having enough mileage on it is not filling me with confidence. He is not landing a clean 4S either. His PCS can only get him so far if he makes any mistake in the short at Worlds.
I really hope that the criteria isn't so much who did better at 4CC, but more who is most likely to make the free skate. I don't know the answer to that, so I hope that there's monitoring going on. I just want whoever goes to make the free.
Six of one, half a dozen of the other, lol. (I agree with you)I agree with what you are saying but I think it's more like Conrad didn't do anything at 4CC that would prevent Roman from being selected i.e I don't really think Roman did that well at 4CC.![]()
Brooke and Ben matched very well physically. That kind of match doesn't come along every day.Well.. I like Brooke and Ben together. I also liked Gabriel and Fiona together.
Young pairs will be young pairs... let's wait for official statements...
Totally agree. Their lines !!!! Fiona and Gabriel it's more about the energy, the presence.Brooke and Ben matched very well physically. That kind of match doesn't come along every day.
I was wondering what to eat for BF... I usually go for PB toast.. but somehow, I want eggs now? Gosh this forum has so much influence on meSix of one, half a dozen of the other, lol. (I agree with you)

I started out being lazy and asking to read that in English, but the translation at times was so....interesting...I gave myself a head-slap and switched back to the French original. My French is slow, but at least some of the sentences made more sense thenWho does Rocky better ?

After 4CC, Roman is 33 and Conrad is 93 in the standings. Wesley is at 22, so if he can stay in the top 24 he'll get a non- host GP assignment next season (along with the SB 24 too.)yeah.. that's my issue. at 4CC.. no big deal... but at worlds, I doubt that a not so good 4s and a 2a and perhaps a 3lz-2t combo would mean qualification. HA ! Considering Skate Canada likes not to send our skaters out, maybe they will just send Wesley (okay.. I am joking obviously)
The reality is that both skaters need mileage. Send them to Challenge cup with matthew... Ravi will already be there... and Choose from there would be my modus operandi. Home worlds are important. If our men don't do well, Canadian fans will be shook ! The casual fans are used to Patrick Chan, or at least, Keegan Messing.

what can i say that I haven't already said ?After 4CC, Roman is 33 and Conrad is 93 in the standings. Wesley is at 22, so if he can stay in the top 24 he'll get a non- host GP assignment next season (along with the SB 24 too.)
I don't want Roman rushing to add back the 3A if he isn't ready for it. He recognized that after Nationals and recognized that he wasn't ready for SCI either. So I'm confident that Roman will at least go for content that he is comfortable going for and can recognize if he isn't ready.
Yeah, I don't see Skate Canada sending them out to see how they'd do closer to Worlds. That would be more ideal than basing it off 4CC, but it's Skate Canada![]()
Unfortunately he's too short for Brooke.Totally agree. Their lines !!!! Fiona and Gabriel it's more about the energy, the presence.
This being said, who knows how Fiona and Ben would look together![]()
If Gabriel indeed retired, Fiona does need a partner. I can see the reshuffle happening. I wonder what Thierry is doing. He is such a strong singles skaters and partner...
Was thinking about Fiona not BrookeUnfortunately he's too short for Brooke.
I seem to recall that Ben really wanted to skate with Brooke, moving to a new province and learning English to do so.
I really hope they end up sending Roman just to see him skate at one more event. I didn’t even think he deserved to be sent to 4CC. After the result, his 217 score is already higher than any Canadian man, behind only Chiu and Gogolev (injured?). I think only Chiu has a chance for a top 12 finish this year. Roman is the guy with the strongest chance to make the free skate. Also, his world ranking would put him in a better flight of skaters too. HaHa!! I’m not that far off with the disengagement… I really don’t expect much from Roman anymore. I watched 4CC without nerves. That actually made me enjoy the competition more.Glad to see you back on Romsky cheering squad
I am sort of disengaged at this point.![]()
