I'm eager to hear your thoughtsStill trying to figure out what that will mean overall for some of my faves. Waiting for the fps. It's difficult to keep up with all the skating going on at the moment. It's fun, but exhausting. I have some thoughts on the pairs, which I will share later in U.S. pairs thread.
Yeah, but it really wasn't so easy. The cut is very tough. It was sad seeing the looks on some of the skaters faces when they realized they would not make it to Nationals. I think Martins/ Bedard already had a bye to Nats, but still competed. I mentioned some of my thoughts on the scoring in the U.S. pairs thread.I'm eager to hear your thoughtsThe top 7 pairs went through is what I was told. So at least that's easy.

Does that mean he gets a bye again to 2025 Nats? Plus, he'll likely get assigned to compete on JGP again, in 2024-25.Jacob Sanchez is not competing at the Nationals but competing at the Youth Olympics. It's the not-so-secret secret LOL
USFS issued a document called ADVANCEMENT TO THE U.S. FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS to those who qualified for the sectionals, with a table of who have gotten byes and how many slots for sectional qualification. Though the tables they provided are only for seniors. I think I posted in a different thread the one for pairs.
I don't think they published this document publicly anywhere; they only emailed it to the skaters who qualified for sectionals.Thank you. The problem is that U.S. fed does not make information easily accessible. Their website navigation is very much like a maze.![]()
Yeah, I had actually queried the site about the lack of audio earlier this summer, and the response was 'No audio, due to music rights issues.'The videos in the US Figure Skating Fan Zone has no music https://usfigureskatingfanzone.com/watch/?Archive=3382&type=Live
Guess their way of eluding copyrights. You can see the program, but no music
Yeah, my comment is the same. No accessibility for fans. Plus, lack of competent, professional leadership. Blind leading the blind. U.S. fed and ISU, both backwards, Mom/Pop level organizations.I don't think they published this document publicly anywhere; they only emailed it to the skaters who qualified for sectionals.
Not sure. I'd reckon he'd get invited to the camp for the World's selection. Depending on his performance in YOG as well (though I think he'd do really well). It will also probably depend on how he performs at the Junior Cup in Milwaukee.Does that mean he gets a bye again to 2025 Nats? Plus, he'll likely get assigned to compete on JGP again, in 2024-25.
