I continue to be sad that I missed out on going when it was held at Macquarie Ice Rink - which is the closest rink to me, but hey there'll be live streaming for this so hooray.

Also Darian K is going to be here!

I watched some of the Synchro skating today, it's nice to see the lads are getting into Synchro these days - there was the cutest lad with a bow tie in one of the groups today!

In other news I was looking at the Results page and I was most curious by the name of of one of the Basic Novice boys: Dwight KAPTICH. Darian's little bro? A nephew? Or just a coincidence? I'll have to try and watch the Basic Novice lads to solve the mystery

Never mind the Golden Spin next week, Nette / Westwood were actually skating today at the Bosphorus Cup in Istanbul.

Oh that's cool I really loved him when he was ice dancing! I wonder if he'll be super harsh like Shin Amano and dancers will quake in their boots when they hear his name.

OK Mixed Aged Synchro is on now. Aww such cute costumes and they've got a tiny girl and a lad in the team.

And oh, Happy World Ice Skating Day! I went skating this morning myself.

I did watch quite a few of these events and I'm very certain Dwight and Darian are closely related, Dwight the same hairstyle just Darian used to.
