Oh no. Maria GRIBINIC (MDA) is definitely crying. It's not just the shadows in the results area (they really need to sort out the lighting).

Time for the daughter of the skater that won the Senior Ladies title the last time the British Championships were held in Northern Ireland.

It's always nice to cheer on the children of former skaters.

Awwww. Tammy and Arabella are both struggling to see the screen and having to lean forward! :laugh: I said something had to be done about the lighting there! ;)

Now, this costume for Semen DANILIANTS (ARM) is a choice and a half.

I was a bit surprised, as I was expecting to hear "Hey! Pachuco!" when the music started. Because, let's face it, who in their right mind would wear a bright yellow jacket if they weren't doing a "Mask" programme.

But, it did appear eventually! :biggrin:

Continuing the family theme, Matias LINDFORS (FIN), the wee brother of Viveca, Monica and Fanny, is coming on now.

Although Viveca and Monica are retired, it it looks like the Lindfors family are going to be around for a long time to come. Their kid brother is promising. I really enjoyed that from Matias.

Ach, for goodness sake! It started buffering about halfway through Pavlo's programme. But, thankfully it eventually came back and we saw the final third of the programme.

I hope that was just a one-off.

Awwww. I just had to look up who Hugo HERRMANN's coach was, because she was getting EXTREMELY excited when Hugo's scores were announced.

It's Viola Striegler.

He goes into the resurfacing with a 25.95 point lead over Furkan Emre INCEL (TUR)

EDIT: That's the FS scores that are on the results page. I don't know what the scores are in the overall standings.​

Typical. The stream has died in the middle of the last skater's programme!

It's back now, but Lukas is sitting with his head in his hands waiting for the results.

I take it this is an indication that he had a nightmare of a skate, and that it is maybe a good thing that we didn't see it all.

Yipes! 8th in the FS, dropping him down to 7th overall! :eek:

What, the stream died? Oh my how fitting.
I watched while working and after concentrating on Naoki and his sadness I had to go and feed the cat during Lukas's skate.
Only came back when they were already waiting for the scores. Lots of falling involved it seems..

But I guess especially the last two will learn the most from this competition in terms of managing nerves etc. in the future.
