I agree. I love the intensity. Plus the level 4 spins and step sequence. No cookie cutter skating here.

Serna had a clean program?
Adam's marks getting through the roof so early in the season, that's new. Is it his shape (only)?
Kovalevs.. ouch again.

So, the archive is still up, but the last 3 men are after the 12 hours
if they'd just stream all the Seniors and Juniors (in one go) there would be no problem.

marketing, what? I was just joking around. Of course it's personal taste, and also just fashion - some things you like, some you don't. I don't think these skaters will lose sleep over some random woman 15-20 years older than them not liking their style.
As you might have gathered from my other comments I like them very much otherwise...

The problem is that the stream was switched on about 3 or 4 hours too early.. so the beginning of the video is just a screen saying that it starts at 2pm.. which goes on for hours. If only they could've cut that out instead

Be reasonable. Critiquing the shape of their noses or chins would be uncalled for (even if some of us do it in the privacy of our own living rooms) but criticising beards is no worse than judging costumes since they are an aesthetic choice.

So in senior rhythm dance Dupayage and Nabais look pretty good and weren't very far behind Demougeot/Lemercier. Lopareva and Brissaud were considerably further ahead and they stand out from the crowd with that choreography and storytelling. Lagouge/Caffa are slightly ahead of Terreaux/Perron, I think buoyed by their charisma and chemistry.

The stream was on mute in the first half of Terreaux and Perron's RD so I have no idea what music they were using or whether they showed any musicality.


In junior free dance it was a predictable runaway win for Fradji and Fourneaux- i think that free is growing into something very impressive. Perrier-Gianesini and Blanc-Klaperman were lovely but yet again hampered by a big error (she fell in the step sequence). They still had enough to be second overall. Mouadan and Bigot were third with a wonderfully performed (if technically not as strong compared to JGP Budapest) free dance. Bernard and Bonetto dropped from third in the RD down to fifth overall. Duprat and Taddei-Dugue had a much better perfromance here than at JGP Istanbul, their third place FD took them to fourth place overall.


French ice dance doesn't disappoint.
