Wow - Ken's on the podium - I wasn't expecting that! It will be interesting who gets sent to Europeans and Worlds out of the British men. Graham Newberry hasn't skated yet this season, AFAIK, and I'm not even sure whether he's been at any of the qualifiers.

I love both Sam (and yes, you can see certain influences ) and Donovan, they have different styles but are both such innate performers.

Nice men's line-up for a small comp, and so happy it was 1) free stream and 2) normal time for the Eastern US.

We stay with the girls, but move onto the two National 2 level competitions. 18 girls in each competition, each arranged into two groups of 9 girls. That said, in each competition, the skater due to start at #2 has withdrawn, so it is actually 17 in each competition (8/9)

Yay!!! We have two skaters representing the Dundonald club competing in the first National 2 competition!!!



Better than that, they are twins!

Unfortunately, they are not going back-to-back. They have 3 Dundee club skaters and the Group 2 Warm-Up splitting them.

But the first of them is coming on now.

Wow! She was really good! A couple of things just need a bit of polishing. But, no mistakes.

I loved the costume. Especially the head band with the feather. It looked very 1920's, and tied in very nicely with the music.

Awwwww!!!! Both of the twins were sitting there to get the scores. And Kevin van der Perren in the middle!

She goes into 4th with a score of 19.38.

Now for the second of the twins from Northern Ireland.

And, after seeing them sitting together, I think it's safe to say that they are identical twins. Put it like this: if Emily hadn't been wearing black, and Katie wearing sky blue, I wouldn't have been able to tell them apart!

Didn't recognise the music, so don't really know what the theme is. But, it is a beautiful dress.
