Summertime looks to have worked better for her than Danse Macabre looking at the scores. She competed Danse Macabre 6 times this season, with her highest score being 124.76 at SCI. She hasn't had a score over 120 with it at any of her other competitions. Plus at Skate Ontario sectionals, she lost the free skate to Katherine Medland Spence
With Summertime, she had 3 competitions with scores over 120 (Nepela, SCI and 4CC) and 6 total competitions. So at this point, I can see why she'd go back to it before Nationals. If she has a messy free there again, it may not be enough to make the podium again.

Think Maddie realizes that this year she is in trouble and is trying to figure out how to get back on top at home. In the past she knew going into Nationals that she was going to worlds no matter what. This year she has to win. Although I do think as long as she places in the top 3, there will be a skate off at 4CC. And as the better known International lady from CAN, she has a better chance of placing better there.

Starting to do my homework for Nationals...
- Where can I find a season's or personal best for your lovely Canadian skaters?
- I have your rewatch made, but am completely unable to access any of your daily motion videos, not even with vpn. It tells me I have a token problem even with all adblocks off. This is going to make it impossible for me to add links to the list unless I either figure this out (been going on 4 weeks with no solution) or if someone takes my list and adds the links. If the links are there, I can download and only then see the actual skating (bypassing dailymotion entirely). It's going to be a bummer to watch only on my phone and not be able to update.

I have started the threads for Nationals but I am away so will only update them later.
Skate Canada website has the entry list.. i don't know if the site also has seasons best
for dailymotion, i have no idea what you are talking about so i cannot help. one annoying thing is that they usually don't post individual videos but the whole event... so i am not sure how you would work this out in the rewatch. i think @saine may have better answers for you

I would post a blue link to the title such as Women Short Program. If the link is posted i the threads I would retrieve them from there. That might be my answer, Thanks for responding!
@labgoat I think your computer must be ill.
I've never heard of anyone having this sort of issue with dailymotion. It does need an adblock turned off to view things, but you've tried that. You were the only one who had problems with German nationals, too, so I really think it must be something to do with your computer and not problems with the streams.

Can you get the streams to work on a phone or tablet? I know you wouldn't be able to do all your detailed updates that way, but it would help with working out whether it is your computer (which is still my suspect) or your location which is the problem.

Skate Canada did post the individual winning free skates for all the Junior/Senior gold medalists at last Nationals on Youtube, they're in this playlist - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxqrI2KKF9559vLM6NxE5iEAnXNwv_WGU I think that's where they'll go if they continue the practice.
The individual videos for the winners went up fairly quickly, the published date for Terry Yu Tao Jin was the same day as the Junior Men free skate. They also included some other skates (Lia Cho's Novice free skate, Bashynska/Beaumont's Challenge free dance.)
They don't, the only bests that they publish are the records - https://skatecanada.ca/fans/canadian-records/ It is interesting to see what competitions count/don't count for a Canadian record.
Patinage Quebec does have tracking for most of their skaters on their team page - https://patinage.qc.ca/equipe-du-quebec/ I say most because they completely skipped over Edrian's scores when he was competing for the Philippines. For domestic competitions, it looks to track Quebec sectional championships, Challenge and Nationals.

HAHA we have been talking about the women's field all season.. .so much deeper than ever and no true real leader (sorry Maddie, love you but you have been inconsistent)
I am curious about the men but it's not exciting.. it's going to be about who skates the less badly and that is never fun... However, junior men should be awesome... finally some men have decided it was time for their 3a to show up this season
pairs and dance : always a thrill for me.
