2024-25 Russian Grand Prix Final

You have Mura over Dasha? Why? Dasha is at minimum fighting for silver. She is far clear of Gorbacheva IMO. Muravieva with 3A is also pretty far up. I think Adeliia-Dasha-Mura is a very strong podium favourite. Mura-Gorbacheva is an interesting fight. A perfect Akateva can steal the spot if both of them struggle.
lol let me believe mura could win a medal here. It’s just that after her season it would be great to see her back (and for her mental)
But objectively I agree she’s not over dasha or even Alina.
But we all know how dasha can collapse, so I wouldn’t be certain about dasha’s podium neither.

Sikharulidze said they would probably establish draw ceremony costume contest.

In other news, Sikharulidze wants less generous judging, closer to possible international scores.
International scores? This combo two days ago received two 3's and five 2's, no q's nor an underrotation. Look how flawed it is with the lean and barely keeping balance through the landing. Compare that to the brutal q they gave Alisa last week on her 4Lz which was almost a complete fiction . Sadkova received 69 for free skate PCS in the Russian championships, this is what Amber Glenn received at the GP final I would put Sadkova in a clean program ahead of Glenn (program with errors) any day (in fact I'd have Sadkova in a clean program vs an Amber clean program). Gushchina receives 68 for PCS, Petrokina 65 at Europeans. That seems about right better skating skills. Gushchina would have won that event . In women's the scoring is just about right. In men's it is a little high, but then again, Malinin was getting perfect 10's at the GP final . Maybe the Russian fed is looking at what Shaidorov receives, but there are reasons for why they hold Misha back so much. Lowballing the women in domestic comps just gives another reason to hold Adelia back at the Olympics.

Very early good morning from the US. Excitement and nerves will be high with possible Olympic qualifier spots on the line. Hope everyone skates to the best potential.

Too bad. It's not as if they had a realistic chance against B/K or M/G, but I wish they'd been perfectly clean for their sake. She was off center in the air on the throw, but she managed a clean landing and I had hope the rest of the program would go well for them.
