Pity that Chikmareva/Ianchenkov are out this season, it could have been a great fight between them.Great performance.
The fall was unfortunate but it looks like Ch/K think they can become the next big thing and they are going for it.
With apparently a lot of yelling and blaming the other instead of working together to solve the problem. I always marvel at how pair teams can be so angry with each other yet the womn still trusts her life to her partner every time they get on the ice. Yet Stolbova/Klimov, one of my favorite teams of all time, hated each other. It gave a real edge to their skating,
Good for M/G. That must be a relief for them.

Yay M/G the class of the field this year, best in the world and the only choice for the Olympics, subject to the IOC criteria (at least thats one easy choice for Anton)Well done to Natalya and Ilya great skate from them today.

I can never get the idea of S/K doing assassin's tango out of my head. It would have been perfect.
Indeed. Their Argentine tango was one of my absolute favorite programs. The tension between them translated perfectly to that program.
I can't hate someone, know that the feeling is mutual, and let him throw me in the air.
Their training sessions must have looked like a novela.

Never been a fan of L/G but I'm very sad for them.
Lost Jr Nats in the last age-eligible season because of an extended lift.
Lost national team mid-season because many strong couples have suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
Had to WD from the final due to a collision that was not their fault.
Must be devastating.

Sofia was so emotional after the skate. I wonder why. Good levels today. Yesterday they had a lot of problems.

Andrei has the most confident and beautiful backflip in FS I've ever seen.
He performed in circus when he was a kid and learnt this element very well there.
