I don't think she's equal to Margo for PCS, but she deserves the lead with the SP advantage. Another new star in figure skating. She even received slightly higher score than Margo for the free.
Margo should definitely have received several points more for PCS, but that's unfortunately the punishment for starting so early.I don't think she's equal to Margo for PCS, but she deserves the lead with the SP advantage. Another new star in figure skating.
OK, on Insta someone told me that they really have to turn 11 before July 1st, that's why Korchazhnikova and Dokukina were not there. That doesn't explain Solntseva and others though.probably not unless they changed the rules, since Sonya S competed here last year despite being born in the 2nd half of 2012
It's strange that Sonya was allowed to compete here last season, then, given that she wouldn't have been 11 before July 1st 2023...I'm pretty sure the two of them were initially on the entry list as well, so if that's a rule, it must not have been a known one. Maybe they added that rule this year due to the sheer number of entries? I suppose it would make sense, since those turning 12 after July 1st won't be junior eligibleOK, on Insta someone told me that they really have to turn 11 before July 1st, that's why Korchazhnikova and Dokukina were not there.
