Sorensen has been banned for at least 6 years.are they injured?
Thanks for replying, I didn't know this.Sorensen has been banned for at least 6 years.
The news came through yesterday. Apparently they went to Shanghai and then learned that they couldn't compete. Thanks for replying, I didn't know this.
A bit rough on the jumps, but everything else looked really good. His PCs were excellent. That says a lot. He has work to do, but that short, performed at top level, will keep him in the game. I'm still not sure what happened on the 3A. Didn't get enough height and got off axis on the landing. That cost him about 6 points compared to a clean landing with the fall. A clean 3A would have had him at about 93. So he's got room to grow with this program. Not bad for early season. None of them were perfect, or even close. He'll be working hard leading up to SCI, for sure! Also, I believe that was Tracy making announcements, so he was partly without a coach. Overall, except for the fall on the 3A, a very good first outing on that program. He looked good, he looked confident and he looked happy! That's a winning combo!JASON!!!!! Sublime skating, and I love this program as a short, it's probably easier to give it more energy when you're only doing three jumping passes.

Is the men's SP approximately 9 pm Thursday in Shanghai? (and thus 9 am in EDT in the US?)
The 3A was marked underrotated (<) so it wasn't worth 8 points, only 6 and something, -3 and something points for the fall. According to my (quick) calculation he would have gotten around 95. His 3F had more than 2 points GOE and everything was level 4. He used to get 94 with botched levels, or less than optimal GOE, and 96+ clean. The fall was -1 and he lost at least 1 point in PCS too (I think).A bit rough on the jumps, but everything else looked really good. His PCs were excellent. That says a lot.
