Wow - What a great skate by Deniss!! I have never seen him do that quad so well, and nearly all of his other jumps were nicely executed as well. I didn't like the program as well as Jason's program, but Deniss is still very competent and ahead of most of the field when it comes to performance/etc. I always love his interesting spin position. It's a nice costume, but I don't understand the flappy gold part on his butt (I'm sure that there's some reason for it, but I find it distracting).

I love Jun, but I hate this music (and his shirt ). I far prefer his SP. Nonetheless, he skated very well, save for the hard fall. I always love his 3 Lz-3 Lo, and his passion and performance. I just wish that some of his jump set-ups weren't so long.

Is Jason done competing until Nationals because with this skate he needs more competitions to shake off the rust. Not good to have the lowest technical score here even lower then the Chinese men.

he's doing the grand prix. gpCAN and NHK trophy.

Last season at Warsaw he had an even lower score and then he went to Nationals and was fine.

Bringing back the kick I see (always loved the kick in "Room Where It Happened"). I do so appreciate in men's skating than a good hitch kick.

They were both very good in this comp. And yes, Jason's score was better than last year's practice program. He'll get it. Hoping he peaks at NHK! That would be a good place to really knock it out of the park. A good solid skate with all content in place is a good goal for SCI. It's coming up in 3 weeks. But the bones of his programs are good and they will get better. He looked relaxed, happy and focused. That's a great start!

Yes, I love Jason's transitions in Mirror Mirror. I think that some of doubles are supposed to be triple jumps. I agree, when the program is polished, it will be another Jason Brown masterpiece. I am happy that Jason got the bronze medal. I like his Tarzan program too, now that it is his short program. Congratulations to Jun and Deniss as well.

I just want to add a note that watching Bradie skate again brought a smile to my face

Also, C. Kim I always felt was underscored domestically in comparison to Jia Shin. She is now the clear frontrunner for Korean ladies skating with no Haein Lee. Her 214 score was amazing to see. I hope she scores 210+ on the GP series. She is my favourite Senior Lady and would love to see her win a silver or gold at Worlds.

Chaeyeon really improved i would even say a lot.Her body coordination looks superb.Jumps are light and lazy like always,but still very good.Only Stsq is questionable.Seems she focused too much on hands instead of foot.Programs are interesting even tho this year songs for Juniors and Seniors are really weird in mu opinion.Hope too see even more from here in Grand Prix Series.
