2024 Skate America - Where Are You Watching

That's in Toronto time. Out in Vancouver, for example, starting times are three hours earlier, so anyone who can access CBC needs to adjust for your time zone.
Maybe do the DST calculus and set up alarm on the cellphone or schedule auto turn on of the TV..

Here is -1 from EST time zone but I set up the calendar for be notified . The strange that Chile appears as geoblocked but watching espn schedule doesn't appear on TV schedule

Ask Google to tell you the time difference between Toronto (ET) and where you are. If it gives you number of hours, subtract or add as needed. I'm in the Pacific zone, so if CBC tells me something starts at 7 p.m. ET, then it's 4 p.m. in Vancouver which is three hours behind ET.
I know how to do that, but they literally say 'Times in MDT. Times in ET' and there is no tab or anything for switching between the two, so it's anyone’s guess if it's already converted to Montain or still in Eastern. Should be one or another, can't be both.

Interesting. When I look at the CBC for anything to do with skating, I use cbc.ca/sports/olympics/winter/figure-skating (I have that bookmarked and check every day year round). I click on Streaming Schedule, it shows me the schedule already converted to "local time", which is Pacific Time for me.

I gave it a check. I got the same message, except CDT instead of MDT. The times there matched what the schedule was in Central, so I think it's displaying the times based on location. But the wording is confusing on the page, I was thrown off until I checked.

Yeah, that's what I thought tbh. They converted for all five of us living in MDT, but forgot to take out ET from the sentence or there was supposed to be a clickable tab that didn't work. Anyway, it is in really convenient time as shown for once, not like 2:45 am...

Was checking in ISU app the times and convert to Chilean standard time ( CLST) and well is plus an hour of time difference with EST.

Finally isn't geo blocked for Chile , today afternoon appeared in YouTube the link for the live stream. Luckily!!!! . I'm happy 😀 😀 😀 because was checking that morning frequently ISU YouTube checking if appears the links for the live stream and hit the button reminds me when begins and couldn't convince that even here were geo blocked.

They've been uploaded to Youtube, the playlist is here - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-CheZaoFWwQ0YRkW7iCfi5o-OHlvfWaX

I'm not sure how long they'll be up for.
Thanks you @saine !!!!! I hope it will be for long long long time, better said forever

The two big questions are:
1. How long will Peacock keep up the replayed events?
2. What country is needed on a VPN to get ISU youtube broadcasts?

The practice videos will be up for 24 hours.

Just a reminder that SKAM is held just outside Dallas - it’s USA CDT, 1 hour behind Eastern.

This is what USFS posted for Competition Streaming on Peacock:

Competition Streaming

"All competition will be livestreamed on Peacock. Events can be accessed on Peacock for 72 hours following their conclusion."

I believe that same info was posted last year but the video replays were only available for 48 hours. Of course, I am old and may not be remembering correctly.

I will be starting out with Peacock World Stream for Pairs SP. Depending on who is doing commentary on Peacock for Women's SP, I may be switching my VPN to the Netherlands and watching the ISU Stream for the Women's SP. I just checked and with the VPN set to Netherlands the tiles for both the Pairs SP and Women's SP

my experience today. I turned on Peacock bookmark for pairs short and saw tara and johnny.:rolleyes::censored: and commercials . Went back to Sports and found world feed. Ted! Yeay!! And no commericals. Then walked over to lap top and found ISU channel and short Women. And NO commericals. Yeay! And yes, the Neatherlands worked for VPN.
This type of marketing by Peacock is very puzzeling. I wonder how many people had to suffer through J and T and commericals and didnt know it?

Happy you found the World feed @CoyoteChris. Thank you for the tip about Netherlands server working with ISU stream.

@CoyoteChris I did know the World Feed was the "good" (Not Tara and Johnny) feed, although I did click once on non-World by mistake. Quickly switched back. :)

Peacock wouldn't have a reason to tell us though. They are owned by NBC so they would be happier if we sat through the commercials  And

For anyone planning on watching replays on Peacock here is what I discovered this morning! It is 10 hours since the end of the Pairs SP and I just went to Peacock to watch the replay and Peacock tells me I have 1 Day left to watch. USFS posted that replays would be available for 72 hours after the competition.

Somehow 10 hours plus 24 hours now equals 72 hours. This is the same thing I experienced last year. If you want to watch the replays on Peacock, do it as quickly as possible.
