Like yesterday, the Tedersoos are in different groups. Emma is going at #2, while Loore kicks off Group 2 at #9.

And like yesterday, the coach is staying out of camera shot afterwards.

Ah, I didn't realise that they had a doll to go with each programme. I thought it was one doll per skater.

She looks very disappointed.

Into a substantial lead in both FS and overall over fellow Estonian Ebe-Mai TALU.

Her FS score is 3.07 points higher than she got last week in Lõunakeskus, and her overall score is 4.06 points higher this week too.

And the Latvian girl that came after her, Ksenija BORODULINA, is upset too. To the extent that she is crying.

Well she did have a fall.

But, she still leads both FS and overall. So, it's not all bad.

I reckon that was a relative (possibly her mother) sitting with Ksenija, because Jekaterina Platonova (Kuchvalska's coach) had briefly popped in with her during the highlights. But after that it was this other lady with her, and she gave Ksenija two kisses on the forehead when the scores were announced. That was lovely.

Oh no. And the second of the Latvian girls going back-to-back, Mia KASPAROVICHA, is crying too! In her case uncontrollably.

She's got Jekaterina Platonova with her. She tried to calm Mia down at first, but then gave up.

She goes into 3rd in the FS, and overall.

This is what I hate about this sport. It's so upsetting to see skaters crying.

Right, just had the second of the Tedersoos, Loore.

Like with Emma earlier, the coach is staying out of camera shot.

Loore also has a doll to go with her FS programme, but she has it lying on the seat beside her and is instead holding onto her jacket.

She also looks very disappointed. (This is becoming a trend in this competition).

She goes into 2nd in both the FS and overall, in each case around 3 points behind the leader.

Her FS score is 7.59 points higher than she got last week in Lõunakeskus, and her overall score is 12.23 points higher this week too.

So, I think it is safe to say that doing back-to-back competitions hasn't affected the Tedersoos adversely.

Evelina BARSAMOVA (LAT) had some very interesting head gear. It made her look like the Statue Of Liberty!

But, I dread to imagine what ould have happened if it had fallen apart, and these spikes had fallen on the ice!

Speaking of falling apart, the end of her programme did just that. She was doing a choreographic slide at the very end, and she leaned back too far and fell! And she finished the programme sitting on her backside wondering what on Earth had happened!

She actually got two deductions for the programme, totalling 1 point.

Mind you, she still managed to go into 2nd position in the FS and overall.

Awwwww!!! Whichever of the Nekrasovas that is (I'm leaning towards Jekaterina), Sofia is definitely her daughter. Because as soon as her score was announced, the wee girl turned around and gave her a massive kiss and hug!

She goes into 2nd in the FS, and the lead overall.

Now that the Advanced Novice boy is finished and we've had a resurfacing, it's girls for the rest of the day. And our girls double-bill starts with the Basic Novices. 22 girls, arranged into two groups of 7; followed by a group of 8.

Mmmm. The music wasn't ready for Skater #6, and she was standing in her starting position for ages. She must have been getting uncomfortable, because she had to reposition her leg at one stage.

Eventually the whistle was blown, and she was called over to the desk. The music then started playing for a few seconds, and after a short delay (presumably while she was confirming that it was the correct music) she was sent back out.

I liked her music, and her outfit. Unfortunately, she made a few mistakes.

She went into 5th position.

That was a different programme from Marta Helena PRANGEL (EST).

I was nearly sure I saw a Prangel in Lõunakeskus last week. But, I just checked and Marta wasn't there. So, maybe I'm getting her mixed up with a sister or something.

She's got a team-mate sitting with her and the coach, but it is not one of the Estonian skaters that we have seen so far.

She goes into 2nd, exactly 1 point behind Joos.

I knew I wasn't going mad! It was this skater, Lilli Ann PRANGEL, that was in Lõunakeskus last week!

There were two other skaters with her, but neither of them was Marta. They were both wearing their skating dresses, which suggests they were skaters that were in action today.

To be honest, although both Prangels belong to the same club, they don't really look like each other. So, they may not be sisters. Maybe cousins.

She goes into 3rd position.

When the first few notes of Skater #2's music started, I thought "Wow. I was not expecting hard rock music when I saw that metallic dress".

But first notes can be deceiving. It turned out to be a country version of "Born This Way". And it did sound like Lady Gaga singing.

It eventually turned into the normal version towards the end.

Still can't work out how the metallic dress fits in.

But, I enjoyed the programme.

I still want to know who that is that sits with the Latvian skaters. Whoever she is, she must be cold, because she's wearing a heavy coat that goes up to her chin, and is also wearing heavy gloves.

She goes into a massive 7.62 point lead. Our mystery lady said "wow!" when it was announced.

Wow! They didn't waste any time taking today's stream private! As soon as the director switched back from the results area camera to the rinkside camera, the notice came up.

I'm very happy Niina is back, but I don't think she's really fit again. I hope they didn't rush her comeback.

I am honestly schoked how stupid they are by rushing back. She has world assigment anyway. She told in interview after comp that she is only able to jump from.right foot and left is still in.pain. It is sad.

The final day of the Tallink Hotels Cup is an all girls day. It starts with a combined competition for the Pre-Chicks girls. 9 B girls; followed by 2 A girls. They are aranged into a group containing 5 B girls; followed by a group containing 4 B girls and 2 A girls.

First skater was wearing a dress that was far too pink and fluffy for this time of the morning!

And she was followed by a skater who was skating to a seriously messed up version of "Für Elise". Somebody on a piano trying to show off with lots of improvisations. Somebody needs to tell these musicians that they shouldn't try to "improve" on the greats.

It's probably a good thing that Beethoven went deaf, because I'm sure he would be spinning in his grave if he heard what was done to it.

The programme from the final Pre-Chicks B skater was just too cute! She was skating to "This Time For Africa" by Shakira.

She finished in 3rd position.

During the Lõunakeskus Trophy last week, I wrote this about an Estonian skater in the Cubs B Ladies FS:

Skater #4 started off skating to "Goo Goo Muck" by the Cramps!!!



I don't think I've ever seen somebody skate to that. But, I would love to see more do! (What I would have given to have a Short Dance done to it this season, given that it is from 1981. It could have been one of those programmes we remember for years!)

But then the music changed to that version of Lady Gaga's "Bloody Mary" that I reckoned sounded like the Chipettes! Except, to add insult to injury, this time it was speeded up.

It really spoiled the mood.

She goes into 2nd position.

Well, we just had a Latvian skater skating to the exact same combination of songs! (And I think it was the same edit and all!)

Skater #5 went into 3rd position.

There was a bit of confusion going on there. The announcer called the next skater, and a wee girl just went into her starting position, and was there for ages. And then she was called away, and then she started warming up.

At first I thought that somebody had withdrawn, and that the next girl had unwittingly gone into position prematurely. But, there was only one girl left to skate in the group, Skater #8. So, there must have been problems with the music.

I'm glad they got the music sorted, because I really liked it. And I would love to know what it is!

She goes into 7th position.
