Sonja LUKYANOVA WERNER / Isak Bengt-Eric GRANS (SWE) started off the day with a "Singing In The Rain" programme!!! :cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

Firstly, the title track, "Singing In The Rain" by Gene Kelly. Then there was an instrumental swing piece that I don't know the title of. And finishing with "Good Morning" by Debbie Reynolds, Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor.

Sonja is wearing a beautiful royal blue dress. Isak is wearing black trousers, white shirt, and untied dickie bow.

You can tell they are a new partnership. There were a few mistakes, but nothing major.

As I said yesterday, they are real characters. Isak in particular is very talkative today.

When the music first started, I would have sworn that Mimi MARLER DAVIES / Joseph BLACK (GBR) were skating to the theme tune from "V". But, it soon became clear that they weren't.

Nevertheless, it was a very innovative music choice. I've never seen anybody skate to this music before. And I wish more would, because it is very unusual and would make very interesting programmes.

They were both wearing all black.

That was an enjoyable programme.

They go into the lead.

Right, I'm popping over to the NRW Trophy for the start of the Junior Pairs now. I'll pause Tallinn, and pop back to watch the overnight leaders after the Pairs Warm-Up.

Just finished watching the overnight leaders, Alexia KRUK / Jan EISENHABER (DEU).

Well, I preferred their costumes today to their costumes yesterday. Alexia was wearing a beautiful purple dress. Jan was wearing a white vest and blue jeans.

Loved the music. "Billy Elliott", then The Clash, then The Jam. We need more music like that in figure skating!

And I loved the skating too! A great programme!

My goodness! Robynne Tweedale is getting younger by the day! Yesterdaym I thought she looked the same age as them. Today, she looks younger than them!

They win.

Seniors starting now.
