2024 Trophy Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur: Info and pre-game chat

It looks the weather will be quite normal there today evening. Warning is different than what actually happens, during warning = be prepared what is coming, and when it happens = be prepared but it does not always happen; storms only sometimes subside before reaching the destination . Sometimes the storms just Oona (one of Finnish skaters there) have posted some photos outside yesterday and it also looks quite normal cloudy weather - and it means the Finns have got there, too. Oona, one of th about 60 skaters I stalk through their ig, is very active at ig , has left Finland yesterday morning. My Ig account exists because of professional reasons, but mostly I use it to follow skaters. But warnings should always be taken seriously. Anybody here who lives or is visiting the area who could tell more accurate information?
At the Moment i am like at a 2h drive from Nice and it rained heavily tonight, today the sky's blue with no clouds in sight

The red alert is over so the competition can go on normally now. I'm following weather forecasts closely, and Nice was really on the edge of it (and it was forecasted like that), and not in the danger zone at all, but as a part of the region, there is no disctinction when alert is issued so it was red as well. I regret that some competitions have been cancelled, but we are never too cautious, and I guess the decision was also taken regarding the fact that some skaters probably had their flight back planned today and couldn't change it.
