Based on what we expect from Yuma especially on Olympic season.

This being an Olympic season has no impact on whether or not Yuma is or is not a superior skater when it comes to skating skills, choreography, expression, speed, flow, etc. I agree that his compatriot was fantastic and deserved every point he received, as well.

The outfit gives more karate kid vibe than pope vibes

I'm the same. When I saw Daniel come out in his costume, my instant thought was "Please be skating to 'Kung Fu Fighting' by Carl Douglas, please be skating to 'Kung Fu Fighting' by Carl Douglas".

So, you can imagine my disappointment when his music started, and it didn't have any connection to any martial arts film.

This music does not suit being skated to.

KInda feels like Daniel skates veeeeeerrrrryyyyy cautiously, but he is clean

It's the music. It's far too slow and intense.

Daniel is better than this. And he deserves better than this programme.

Olympic season always has an impact.This is the worse Yuma we are watching him in last 3 years.Of course kinda sucks he has 0 chances of gold medal which for sure kills his motivation,but thought he will try to do something improved.But the guy is jumping 3Lutz as his second jump,so what can i say more.
