Whoever chose Nina Mozer after a night of heavy drinking and smoking to record vocals to "Bad Romance" should also be fired.
And that wasn't even the worst vocal performance in the program.
I love this team but this program needs to be a lot clearer that it's a satire of . . . something?

Thought Green/Parsons were beautiful and look for big things from this program this year. Too bad a weird technical call in RD on their Twizzles cost them this time out. Would have thought US judges at champs camp would have flagged any issues with their program, should have corrected it then. Not sure why levels were so low in FD too. Have to re-watch. Still they looked much stronger this week than their scores suggest. Loved their FD music by the way. Found it haunting and most importantly, interesting, in contrast to many music choices this year I just find boring.

All the dances in this group had some interesting elements and tons of room for improvement--natural for September, but it does make me happy that I'm not seeing any skating live until the very last event of the season (even though some of these teams won't be there anyway).

nope but I am expecting one of our dance aficionados to load video once both events are done. They probably have their hands full. I have posted a few in the rewatch already, but not much yet. Video work takes time and dedication. I salute any and all posters for their work. I award them the Dick Button ward for i his words - promoting the fine art of figure skating

My goodness, what is happening to Evgeniia and Geoffrey? 
They are having so many lapses in concentration and losing so much ground as a result. They are really lacking the speed and passion needed to really present the Bjork pieces effectively in the FD. I was hoping their response to how last season ended would be to come back this season with a vengeance and just skate their hearts out, but it’s really sad to see them struggle so much lately. They can’t afford to let up much because Loicia and Theo will be right there to challenge them for the 2nd French Olympic berth. Lopareva and Brissaud are at their best when skating to quirky or edgy pieces of music. They are definitely stretching themselves in the FD by skating to more lyrical, passionate music, but they are undeniably uncomfortable with presenting this style and some of the transitions appear very clumsy and awkward. Oh, I hope they can right their season soon!

I was skeptical, especially with the costumes from last year, but that had a lot of new, cool moves and their commitment really stands out compared to, e.g., Ponomarenko today (not sorry, but I am just not his fan at all). I give Dune 2 a thumbs up and tip my snood to them.
