2025 European Championships Men's Free Skate

am I right in remembering that his coaches upped and left Nika alone in the KnC after the scores were announced?

Eteri actually patted his left leg as he sat there looking like he was about to die. Now, the woman on his other side looks like she . . . well . . . has issues.

I was amazed by the picture of the three winners - Memola at 6' and a bit looks from a different planet which made me realise the other skaters must be quite short.

I have only realised that Lukas must be quite short after seeing Nikolaj on his side, even though Nikolaj was standing lower there was hardly a difference and now I've just checked - Lukas Britschgi stands just 170 centimeters tall / 5'7''. Most competitive figure skaters are pretty short & petite save for men in Pair & Ice Dance that can be even taller than I am (I am 1.88). And then skaters wear boots with blades under them that can give the impression of a larger stature.

Some of the Japanese are 155cm-160cm. Even Malinin who looks like a tall person due to his build is only 174cm. So Lukas has probably never stood out as being short until Memola came along. The other Italian Corey Circelli is quite tall as well it says 185cm. The twin towers.

Well I finally finished watching the last group I fell asleep watching...
I've always enjoyed Lukas and am delighted to see him get the win. Also surprised and pleased to see Nikolaj Memola erupt the the giant volcano he is and give us a marvelous skate for silver. Adam skating on what appears to be a sore foot was a hard watch but he held on in part due to many others also not skating all that well. Some tough choices for feds to choose their final teams. A word to them...send the healthier guys, quads and injuries do not mix well
