Can you remind me when Skate Canada has scrambled for stuff like that ? I don't remember. They usually let it go don't they ?
The ones I remember are Fabbri/Ayer getting Challenge Cup and Denis Ten Memorial in 2024 without being listed as substitutes. I don't think they'll have them substitute Deanna/Max if they had that much of an issue and they have JGPF coming up.

Woah that was a hard fall on that throw but great throw lutz in second half. l. Great costumes for Gabby and Luc. No ending lift though...

but they didn't need score did they? I thought Skate Canada just wanted to show the judges how good they are :). because it seems like it's just me and Skate Canada liking them right now... ugh

Gabby and Luc

I am not getting connected to them.
I also wonder about some of their choices.
Why try a 3f-2a and a tough 3lutz when they could do 3t-2a-2a and 3f and score much higher.
The lifts are always iffy. Luc is a good lifter but Gabby doesn't seem to enjoy flying... and of course, the twist will remain an issue until they can try a triple. The double is not only just a double but it's not that good of a double.

Of course, let's give them time to develop but yeah...

Great job from K/E! Not as clean as we have seen them but wow they have the IT factor. Great save on the combo from Ava, I hope by final they are adding at least one double axel to it.

Ava and Yoni did better in my opinion than what the judges are showing with all this red :)

Good for them.
The last upgrade needed will be 3s-2a-2a eventually but at least they do 3s-1a-1a and 3t so they still earn good scores for that.

If that TES stays, they will get all their minimums

Me, looking at a lot of the scoring this season (in both directions, and across a variety of competitions):

I know, judging has always been an issue in this sport, but this season, there's not even a motive or direction to it, it's just all over the place. Literally.

For reference, K/E got 8 points less in PCS then at the JGP?

And hasn't been less than 50 since 2023?
