Solomiia ZALETSKA (AUT) was wearing a pink dress and skating to a beautiful French song.
She goes into 8th position.

Zhang may be a common Chinese last name, but they are both from the same club (based on domestic entry lists), so I think it's highly likely they are related in some way - Sisters or cousins, maybe. We just had another Austrian girl with a Chinese name. Funnily enough, the exact same name as a Chinese Pairs skater.
Now I'm curious to know if she is the sister of the girl we saw earlier. It's possible that she's not, because their surname is so common.
Anyway, this girl, Skater #23, goes into 10th position, two positions below Skater #8.

In addition to their Austrian and Japanese heritage, Victoria and her older sister Nathalie (who is competing in Juniors here) were born and raised in Calgary, Canada, where they continue to train. Both competed at the Cranberry Cup at the start of the season, and Nathalie was on the substitute list for a few JGPs, though she did not end up being selected for one.So far today, we have had two Austrian skaters with Chinese names. Now we have one with a Japanese surname, Victoria YONEMORI (JPN).
Everything about that programme was absolutely beautiful. The music, the white dress, and most of all the skating.
I may be biased because I tend to have a soft spot for skaters that are Japanese or have Japanese heritage. But I really like this girl.
She goes into the lead.

this is one of the Kramer-sisters Ophelia (just 11 years) and Leonora (12 years) old. What is it with French songs in this group? We just got another one from Ophelia Seramoon KRAMER (DEU).
But, I certainly would not describe this one as "beautiful". It was awful!
Thankfully that was the only part of the equation that was. The skating was beautiful.
She was wearing a dress that looked like a green blouse and pink skirt. She was definitely going for the cuteness overload award!
Am I going mad, or are there other German skaters with Thai names? A brother and sister. Or have I maybe seen this girl before?
Anyway, she goes into the lead. By just 0.08 poionts.
