Kazuki (I'm still so sad about his skate) left the Olympic door wide-open, and Kao ran through it with his opening three jumping passes. I'm glad that Kao, at least, had a strong skate, but I do wish it could've been a clean-skate-off between the two of them. Those opening quads were soooo good and I really enjoy this program, now please just work on your spins, Kao, you are bleeding so many points on those elements. I am glad to hear he's injury-free now, hopefully he can skate the second half of this program better in Milan. He lost a lot of points there.

and now happy tears from Kao in the k&c, he has to know that's enough for an Olympic berth ❤️

Decent skate considering he's still recovering from his stress fracture. Definitely looked like he was running out of gas at the end. Heal and come back better than ever Rio!!!!

... I really do not have the mental strength to watch anymore, especially when I have another pair of my darlings who are fighting a losing battle over in St. Petersberg... I'm going to curl up in bed with my comfort rabbit Fluffette and cry for an hour
