A really fantastic program from Tsudoi, I love the choreo in the steps a lot and he has great skating skills - love his kneebend. His jumps were a bit tight tonight and I'm a bit surprised he didn't get a call on his combo, but another strong showing from the junior men!

Loving the jazziness from Tsudoi! I'm aware my Japanese TV service is a couple of minutes behind...

I'm happy to see Yuto back after struggling so much with injury over the past few seasons. This wasn't exactly the skate he hoped for, but he at least landed his 3A and combo. He still has ...interesting costumes, at least this one isn't too distracting and I love his performance in the steps.

4. Haruto Toda 戸田 晴登 Toyo University

Haruto is one of the few skaters in the men's event that I'm not familiar with, but I was very excited to hear this "wacky flamenco version" of Moonlight Sonata and it did not disappoint, I'm not sure if I'd call it "wacky" but it was a lot more enjoyable than I feared and he had fun performing it. Haruto has a gorgeous donut position on his camel, it's a shame that the jumps didn't work out for him today.

EbiDaiya GANBA! GANBA!!!

It's a tight race between him and Sena Takahashi for the 3rd WJC spot

A really gorgeous combo and great spins from Daiya, and an impressive save on the 3A. I love a junior man with great spins and his rotational position looks better in the combo than in the 3A. I'm excited to see him grow as a performer, which is probably his biggest area where he could improve on right now.
