2025 Japanese Nationals - Women's FS

Messy start from Mana but she managed to stabilised things in the 2nd half

Ouch in the replay her right ankle is rolled almost flat on that 3A landing, I hope it's not too painful 😨

The step sequence was beautiful though and she sold it well!

Such a miserable first part, but she manage to work something out in 2nd.Still weak performance

What a great skate for Maria! Her jumps were so clean on landing, which makes it easy for the judges to shower her with GOE. I loved her joy in her step sequence and she has such a fast layback spin! She's another one who deserves more international assignments. Her skating skills weren't as strong tonight as they were in the short and especially compared to some of the other women, hence her lower PCS score.

Aaaah Maria almost went clean other than that stepout on her final jump 😭

That layback spin to finish, the speed WOW!!!! I think it's on par if not faster than Mao Shimada's signature Y spin 🌪️🌪️

Maria - the best Japanese domestic skater that hasn’t seen an international assignment!!!

She just skated the best free skate. Lots of green reviews!!
