2025 Lake Placid Ice Dance International | July 27-30

The 2025 Lake Placid Ice Dance International will take place July 27-30, 2025, in Lake Placid, NY, at the Olympic Center.

The event will feature the Junior and Senior categories in ice dance and will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2024, the ISU Special Regulations for Ice Dance 2024, the Technical Rules for Ice Dance 2025/26 (ISU Communications 2704 & 2700) and relevant ISU Communications.

This will be an ISU Minimum Technical Score event.

I think the entry deadline was yesterday at midnight. Any idea if they have been released or where to look for them? I found an even page for last year, but don't think just changing the year in the URL is going to do anything for me.

I'm particularly wondering if the Shibutanis will be there.

With USFS, the entries/start orders will probably be published a day before the event starts. They may have an article before to highlight some of the competitors before the event.

The Announcement PDF for the ISU part of the event says the Senior SD is on Wednesday, and the Senior FD is on Thursday. But, it doesn't give any times.

I guess we'll not find out until the Entries / Results page for the ISU part of the event is populated.

But don't worry, after the times are released, I'll add all the details to the table in the OP.

I think they're just being held in two different rinks at the same time. All the international events will be held in the 1980 rink, while some of the domestic events will be held in the 1932 rink.

Aha! That would certainly explain it. I never would have thought of that being a possibility. (Hey, this is my first time paying attention to this event. I know nothing about the venue, or the event).

Well, if that's the case, it's even worse than the situation I was imagining!

Having competitions on two rinks at the same time is so unfair on the fans, many of whom probably want to watch everything but have to pick and choose.

And on the subject of watching, is there any word on livestreams?

I would quite like to see my newest kids (whose Fan Fest I am working on at this very moment) making their debut.
