2025 Manitoba Sectionals / Fall Open | Nov 2-3

This event is in accordance with the Skate Canada rule book and will take place at Access Event Center, Morden, Manitoba, November 2-3, 2024

In addition to the junior and senior sectional championships the Fall Open will include;

Star 5-Gold freeskate
Podium pathway short and free
Pre Juvenile and Juvenile
Adult intro to Masters freeskate
Artistic star 5 to gold
Showcase individual and group and improv (all 3&4)

For Junior/Senior events, there is one Junior Woman competing. Breken Brezden has a bye to Challenge, and David Howes will be competing as a guest at BC/YT sectionals.

I’m on the ice at 5:10 on the Saturday.. thank god.. at provincials i was 815 am… that was rough. Ok ok guys I know tickets are hard to get to see me so buy early

Awww thank you! I’m not idealistic where I want to be with my leg strength cardio to push full on for 3 minutes but it is what it is. I’ll do another event in December.. that should be better.

Kevin Reynolds doesn’t miss an under rotation.
The only issue I have with him on the technical panel, is that it becomes harder for my skaters to attain the domestic benchmarks.
I won’t be watching this event today.

Yeah not sure what highlights will be worth mentioning. The good skaters out of Manitoba aren’t here because they all have byes to the challenge

So just if anyone cares… this was my second event competing.. well.. not compete.. I was only one but I did gold adult men and.. didn’t include double jumps yet.. and I got 28.30pts. So that’s great to build on.. I think my goal by the end of the season is to be able to get close to 40.
