QMS
Everyone other than the Women has their minimums or a bye, and will advance to Challenge.

Senior Women
Zagele, Henderson and Sinclair have their minimums and will advance to Challenge if Halliday does not get the 40 TES in the free and place above one of them. Ruiter has a bye and does not count to the quota of entries.

Junior Women
If the skater does not have QMS next to their name, they will need to earn 35.5 TES in the free and place top 4 to advance to Challenge for certain. If they have the QMS and do not place top 4, they may be considered as one of the additional entries for Junior Women to Challenge.

Parker is looking like Nikolaj Memola with how he did his hair. Camera cuts off his combo, rude. No TES tracker, the jumps looked fine. Last spin, didn't look so fine. He looked into the program and I think he cut his hand from the way he was holding it at the end. 62.05

Travis - landing on 3Lo kind of wonky, fall on 3T-3T, nice transition out of his 2A. He's made good progress since switching to Glencoe, I hope he makes it to Nationals this season. 57.03

Brian - popped axel :( Hand down on his 3F (it's okay, they're fake.) And 1Lo. Jumps are fake :console: Have the pops here and not at Challenge since there will likely be a cut off this year. 46.23

The video capture is so poor at this event.

I missed seeing some jumps as the video doesn’t move to capture where the skater is going 😔

Tracker was missing with Parker. But, they fixed that. Hopefully, the person responsible for the video camera also fixes the streaming in time for my Lia.

Who is the new lady coach at Glencoe?

I think Parker did a triple double. He is so tall. The video cut his head at many points, cause he is so tall.

Also, Matthew, who I believe is making a case for being a solid 4-6 Canadian guy, landed a 3A. The 3F was badly landed where he couldn’t add a triple toe. What disappointed me, is Matthew doesn’t have a back up triple triple if the 3F 3T fails. He just had a 3Lo 2T. I was hoping he’d have a 3T 3T in his back pocket. Still, 73.01 is an okay SP score.

I will be honest, absolutely no idea how qualifications work for challenge so I don't know if Yitun will make it to nationals without triples, but her footwork was really nice to watch.

I’m at work.
I’m just here for Lia and then I have to bounce.

With 7 junior girls attaining the TES minimums, I still have my nerves that Lia’s season may end at Sectionals. 🙏

Wish I could join u guys for the the whole day. I will be in and out and checking this site for updates.

For Yitun, I wasn't able to find a result for her where she had a TES in the free of 35.5 or greater.

To qualify for Challenge for certain, she'll need to have that and top 4 placement here. There's a new addition to qualification this year where up to 6 additional Junior Women with the minimum TES will qualify for Challenge based on national ranking (don't ask me what the criteria for that is though, I couldn't find it.). I think Alberta and Quebec are the sections where those additional entries come from.

Then at Challenge it'll be the top 18 placements there who qualify for Nationals. It'll probably be the largest category there, so it'll be hard.

Wow that was a really nice skate from Lia! What a random fall in the step sequence though, I loved her smile at the end, she let it roll off her shoulders which is great to see. I don't know the other Canadian juniors well but I assume she will still lead all day.

Thanks for helping me learn! So she will most likely not then if she needs top 4 and a top 18 at Challenge. Always next year for her if her season ends here.

Oh Lia!!! So cute that she laughed it off!!
Also, love her with her Halloween 🎃 mask!!!

60.84. Good enough of a buffer for me to relax for tmrw.

She was skating so well until she fell on the step sequence. Before she fell, I was thinking this is the hardest and fastest step sequence she was attempting

Ok. Bye for now!! Need to keep my j employment!!!

I thought all the people at the boards was always there, but looks like everyone just wanted to see Lia skate. Rough jumps for Kaydee but I really liked her music and thought her program was cute.
