This was not good and I usually like them a lot. I'm not sure why they returned to this program. I liked the other program better. As a general comment, not just about today's uncharacteristically weak performance, their main weakness is their partnering. Good SS, good performers but watch the Italians if you want to see the holds and partnering this team lacks.

Too bad about the rough start for Utana YOSHIDA / Masaya MORITA. It looked like they both put their hands on the ice after the lift. Good for them for staying committed to their dance through the end. I liked their stationary lift.

I love how Y/M continue with their programs with good energy regardless of what's going down. Watching a team with some confidence goes a long way towards enjoying said team.
