I think they should rethink a couple of the elements/transitions in the program. I think they sometimes go for cool but it looks sloppy. I always enjoy their deep edges.

it's a very weird choice indeed... but then, they have their own reasons for coming back and for selecting their music. Now that I have seen them, how emotional they have been and their reaction in the KNC, I believe it was a personal endeavour, proving themselves that Maia's illness didn't stop them in the end. Being there, competing at this level, is a huge victory. Of course, I am probably reading too much into things... but that 's what I felt when I saw them at the end.

And I mean it wasn’t a disaster…they are at least top 6 their first competition in however many years. It was a choice to not do any Challengers…I’ve no idea why they didn’t…but I am not them.

Wolfkostin always looked so stressed skating with Chen. I guess the issues he had with his subsequent partner explain why.

In the end, Chen left IIRC six partners of various lengths of time in his wake. It was the penultimate partnership (what transpired during it) that stalled his career.

My favorite G/P program since 2022. They've been somewhat muted since they switched coaches. This feels like they chose it and wanted to dance to it. So unique.

I’d say ended, not stalled.

I’m not quite sure I grasp everything that is going on in Green & Parsons’ FD, but it certainly held my interest, so there is that

I am not sure I'd call this 'music" but they have good choreo to it... soundtrack ? it's very monotonous....

I miss the times when ice dancers were picking music with big phrasing... climax, tension... but I guess it's all about creating "moves" now instead of skating ... perhaps that's why I liked Fabbri Ayer so much.. (the song is not to my taste but it's "music" allowing them to carve real skating flowing lines)

I agree the music isn't anything. But, they do skate well, have the best basics, the best choreo. They also skate in hold.
