Very nice debut for Flores / Wang. Not perfect, but some awfully nice elements. They have a natural spark to them and gutsy competitors. They will learn and grow from this. So much better than the start of the season.

They skated really well for a senior GP debut

Olivia and Luke landed their sequence and throws (and double toes)
but two lifts were not good, especially the type 4 lift that never got into the other position...

that's going to hurt them but glad to see them land things

Yeah the lifts were one of my worries, but they made it safely.

A good FS from Olivia/Luke, better than the SP! They look happy. The lifts could use a lot of improvement but I didn't fear for them & all elements were completed

Missed seeing them start due to making a meal out of leftover Chinese food (what a coincidence), but glad to see Flores/Wang getting a personal victory.

I love how much Olivia and Luke love to skate and SHOW how much they enjoy performing.

Lifts are iffy. Wonder if they had to rework them. But really, just seeing a team that loves performing makes up for anything.

I enjoyed the program and I love seeing Max and Valentina back again, that reverse lasso lift on the music was soooo good and they're delightful performers. The SBS jumps and throws are really hurting their score, and continue to be an issue for the US teams, but this was a solid starting point for them on the GP series.

Mistakes aside, there are so many things about Val&Max skating to enjoy. I loved how the last lift went straight to the spin, so unique and cool. Ther d-spiral is super fast.

Great lifts, too bad about the jumps and throws (exactly the opposite of the first team)!
