As well as being available on Peacock, the practices will be available on USFSA's YouTube channel for 24 hours after the livestream.

Here is their channel:

Weirdly, "figure skating" hasn't worked consistently well for me. It will pull some things but not always, sadly. I get more hits with just "skating" but not always all the tiles for the same event. It's crazy. I manually go under All Sports and scroll to make sure I am getting all the disciplines/tiles for each event. And it beats me why you can't get hits for event titles like "Skate America," or last week for "NHK." Again, crazy/ridiculous. I loathe Peacock, but it's all I've got.

During Gubanova's practice, JLB mentioned that ice dance has become more about entertainment than exploring different dance styles (within a discussion about authenticity and exploring styles of dance from different countries). Really appreciative of his honesty on that point as well as his idea that there are a lot more gray areas in the concept of authenticity within the context of performances than many are willing to give credit to.

I watch the women practice. They all were there and wonderful.
Most of the women skated with ease and flow. They let the movement show.
To me a few skated stiff but still great.

It will be interesting to see how plays out.

Yes some women fell but expected.
Why , get nerves out to test how others doing.

They do keep an eye out for other skaters in practice.
If one does it another skater does it to show. Yes the skater can.

Watching Pairs practice was interesting (first 4 pairs, all business) and very emotionally engaging -- with the second 4 pairs. The second group were Present. I watched Emily and Spencer again and again.

I loved Jean-Luc's commentary on Emily and Spencer. "they're hot and cold" ... "when they're on, it's SO beautiful" ... "Spencer is so expressive." and "they genuinely live and feel the music."

I'd add that when they (esp. Spencer) direct that expressiveness to each other, it's out of this world.
