2025 Skate America All-Session Tickets Go on Sale Thursday
ISU Grand Prix Series returns to Lake Placid in Olympic season​

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – All-session tickets for 2025 Skate America, which takes place Nov. 14-16 in Lake Placid, New York, will go on sale to the public Thursday, May 22 at 12 p.m. ET.

All-session tickets include entry to all competition sessions Nov. 14-16 as well as all official practices beginning Nov. 13.

Pricing for all-session tickets at the Grand Prix event isas follows (including taxes and fees):

P1: $510/seat

P2: $310/seat

P3: $130/seat

To purchase tickets, fans can visit SkateAmericaLP.com. Single-session tickets will go on sale in July.

One of the most prestigious events of the fall figure skating season, U.S. and World champions are expected to attend in the four contested disciplines: women’s, men’s pairs and ice dance. The full list of invited athletes will be announced in early June.

Competition will be held at the historic 1980 Herb Brooks Arena. This marks the sixth time Skate America heads to Lake Placid and the first since 2017. This is also the third time Skate America will take place in Lake Placid in an Olympic season.

Skate America will be the fifth of six stops in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series. Other stops include Grand Prix de France, Cup of China, Skate Canada International, NHK Trophy and Finlandia Trophy. Skaters earn points throughout the Grand Prix Series to qualify for the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, which will be held Dec. 4-7 in Nagoya, Japan.

USFS finally sent out their email about 3 hours prior to the sale (gee, thanks USFS for giving such a long lead time, lol) this morning. If you didn't get the email with the link - it is here.

It looks like maybe a few hundred have been sold, plenty are left at this point. I got my tickets yesterday from a friend who had the FOFS presale link.

Also, absent from the release info that @gsk8 posted above is the confirmation that there is NO Skating Spectacular this time.

Skate America, one of the most prestigious international figure skating events, will be returning to the Lake Placid Olympic Center’s Herb Brooks Arena!

Traditionally the first stop in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series, Skate America will be the fifth of six stops next season. Top skaters from across the world, including U.S. champions and World medalists, will compete at the three-day competition in women’s, men’s, pairs and ice dance.

With the inaugural Skate America held in Lake Placid in 1979, this marks the sixth time Skate America will be held in Lake Placid — and the first time since 2017! This is also the third time Skate America will take place in Lake Placid in an Olympic season.


2025 Skate America Tentative Schedule (subject to change):

Thursday, Nov. 13

• Time TBD - Official practice sessions (access to all-session ticket package purchasers only)

Friday, Nov. 14

• Ticket Session 1( Time TBD) - Pairs Short Program and Men’s Short Program

Saturday, Nov. 15

• Ticket Session 2 (Time TBD) - Rhythm Dance and Women’s Short Program
• Ticket Session 3 (Time TBD) - Pairs Free Skate and Men’s Free Skate

Sunday, Nov. 16

• Ticket Session 4 (Time TBD) - Free Dance and Women’s Free Skate

Please note, there is no Skating Spectacular (Exhibition) at 2025 Skate America.

All-Session Ticket Package Pricing
All-session ticket packages include a reserved seat to all four competition sessions. The package also allows access to all official practice sessions. Tickets go on public sale Thursday, May 22 at Noon EST.

• P1 - $500/seat plus $10/seat processing fee at check-out
• P2 - $300/seat plus $10/seat processing fee at check-out
• P3 - $120/seat plus $10/seat processing fee at check-out

Oof, those prices... considering how expensive hotels in downtown Lake Placid get, it would have to be a pretty stacked lineup for me to consider this one, unfortunately. I paid way less in 2017... hell, I'm pretty sure I paid less for an all-event ticket to the Grand Prix Final in 2018!

I know the prices are ridiculous, especially since there is no Gala this time. I got the P2 level, was hoping for the P3 but they are selling very few of them and they are in the back corners. Still people with deep pockets will pay for those front row seats, so they get away with it.
