I don't know if it was a response to your appeal, or whether it was sheer coincidence, but the thread was put up just seconds after your post.

I was going to say that, with the sheer number of entries, I am not sure whether I will have time to do my predictions, because I am otherwise occupied today. But then I saw that it doesn't start until late afternoon our time. So, we should be alright.

Individual Gold!! The emotion! The pride! The utter disbelief! Just when my Japan predictions seemed to firmly confirm that the silver at Canada was the feat of a lifetime, never to be repeated, this happens at the very next event! Christmas miracles are surely coming early for me this year

And btw, I see I got all winners right except for Kevin.... what great skate picks when I'm happy about what I got right, but even more so about what I got wrong!

Wow, I got bronze in men, pairs, and ice dance. I'm surprised because the event results were a bit surprising and the judging was a bit harsh and inconsistent overall (and the skating messy in most events). I'll have to recheck my predictions to see where I was right and where I was close. It's about how the numbers added up.

Congrats to all prediction medalists, especially to those who were sole winners in certain categories!

Finlandia Trophy is going to be a real battle, especially in pairs and ice dance!

After checking my predictions, the event results, and the scoring results for the prediction contest, I now see why I didn't win anything in women's event when I actually had some close result guesses for the women and actually less close guesses in a couple of the other disciplines where I won bronze.

The prediction result scores were extremely high for women (so there were some very accurate predictions), while the winning result totals for men, pairs, and ice dance turned out to be comparatively lower. Pairs, men and ice dance final skater placements were rather unpredictable, and in specific instances, surprising. These contests are always fun and interesting. Sometimes, I get nothing when I thought I made good predictions, and sometimes I win luck of the draw medals when the bar for making accurate predictions was really low. Go figure!
