As always, wishing Shun good health and full recovery and before Lombardia
Kao mentioned after Summer Cup that he wasn't sure if he'd participate in Tokyo Summer
IMO, he doesn't need to WD, he needs to start doing full run-throughs with all elements included
Up until Summer Cup he hadn't even attempted his FS program with jumps and spins (unsure about the SP)
Also, to avoid aggravating his injury he still limits the number of Toeloops he attempts during practice (like once...?)
This means he's primarily depending on "muscle memory" to jump three planned 4Ts between both programs

For now, why not just do run-throughs and early season competitions with watered down content (like 4CC) to at least get the feel and timing of his jumps
Once he's more comfortable with the layout he can always upgrade content...slowly, preferably one jump at a time
And why hasn't he switched to two 4Ss in the FS rather than two 4Ts?
Due to his speed and power his 4S can be a bit wild but it's always been his best, most beautiful quad jump (not as impactful in combination) and often receives higher GOE than his 4T
If there is a competition Kao should WD from it's Lombardia Trophy
In his current condition and considering the entries, that CS is not worth risking added injury
He should compete in Tokyo Block instead
