I've just heard Wichita pronounced for the first time. Totally different to what I thought! :ROFLMAO:
It's an American Indian name (Wichita is the name of the tribe and of the language). Just make sure to pronounce an ending "a" with a full-throated "AW" sound. Yakima (Yakimaw) Mackinac (through French, pronounced Mackinaw) :)
